I'm considering thermage for upper arm flappiness. I have a mild case of bat wings with some fat deposit. I'm late 40's &thin. Exercise & loss of 8 pounds has no effect. Will this help me? I have no wrinkling, my skin tone is great overall. The center said I'm a much milder case, but the photos showed someone with no fat and loose, wrinkled skin. I have fat & no wrinkles. I'm also concerned about pain and saftey. ty
In my experience, Thermage can help with the loose, crepey skin that often occurs on the arms as well as the knees. I have found it to be very impressive in treating the flappiness (bat wings) that you describe. Surgery is an option, but there is often a prominent scar after an arm lift procedure.
Can I Get Thermage Done if I'm Menstrating?
There is no reason Thermage cannot be done if a woman is menstruating. It will not affect the procedure in any way.
Does Thermage Reduce the Appearance of Icepick Scars on the Cheeks?
Unfortunately, there is no ideal treatment for ice pick scars to date. While Thermage and other resurfacing lasers stimulate collagen, which can improve the appearance of more shallow scars, the depth of ice pick scars limit the response to any modality.
