I am interested in having restylane Under my eyes. However I am also having laser hair removal on my face. Is this ok or will it affect the filler.
The answer is yes; however, I would not have the treatments on the same day. I usually like to space treatments at least a week or two apart to avoid over inflaming the skin. Since lasers to remove hair target the pigment in the hair follicles, fillers such as Restylane are not affected.
How often is Restylane needed for very dark circles the eyes that extended all the way to the cheek bones?
Most patients return for follow up visits around 6-12 months. The filler is maximal the day the patient is injected, then slowly degrades over time. For this reason, many patients come in at 6-9 months so as to avoid letting the product degrade all the way back down to baseline.
