Dr. Malouf is the 3rd doctor I have seen this year for tear trough injections. The 1st doctor left me with terrible results, the 2nd was scared to fully correct the damage done by the 1st doctor. When I went to Dr. Malouf I was feeling hopeless, I didn't think that my tear troughs would ever look "good" again. Dr. Malouf was very honest that he may not be able to give the results that I was... more
I had botox in my forehead and two weeks later had Restylane around my mouth and in my smile lines. I had Perlane injected into my cheeks. My botox results are great. I can still move my eyebrows and it looks very natural, but most of the wrinkles in my forehead are gone. I am thrilled with the Restylane and Perlane results. It is not obvious that I had anything done, but it took at least 10... more
I finally made my appt with a very experienced plastic surgeon in my area. I went for the consultation yesterday and told him I want to look less tired. I went in thinking I probably want restylane under my eyes and in the marrionette lines. The doctor pretty much agreed (without me mentioning where I wanted it) but he said that he doesn't do injections in the tear trough area - he does it... more
I had an overfill of restylane under my eyes in 2008. I had severe brusing and swelling for months. I have permanent injection site marks and a whiter discoloration in the areas under my eyes for 4 years and going.Under my eyes can blow up further at different times to the size of a golf ball. One time i had an eye infection in one eye and i looked like my face had palsy my face sagged on one... more
I had Restylane in my lips, and around the nasolabial folds, and some under my eyes, about 5 years ago. I was looking at those before and after pictures last week and longed to look like that again. It was a very subtle but beautiful improvement. Yesterday i had Juvederm injected in my lips by a different doctor and I have DUCK lips right now. I am freaking out, hoping this is just temporary... more
I combine my semi-annual Botox treatment with Restylane to keep my face looking fresh & rested. The Restylane fills in those folds around my mouth and I have just a tiny bit injected around my lips to smooth out the tiny lines. Sometimes I have a little bruising but I always apply ice, (the great little round ice patch provided by the doctor's staff) starting immediately on the drive... more
I've been getting Restylane injected since I was 25 years of age (now 32) around the mouth and in my upper cheeks to fill symmetrical genetic cheek depressions.I know its longevity depends on many factors, but I feel different doc injection techniques are the reason behind the same treatment lasting more than 3 months or less than 3 months. I travel quite a bit and don't have the luxury of... more
I've tried Restylane several times for various areas of my face: around the eyes, vertical frown lines from nostrils to lips, on my chin for ( ) lines.
Each time the amount of down time far exceeded what the doctor said it would be. The first time, I thought it was because I did it combined with Botox. The second time, I left off the Botox and blamed the long down time on having too much done... more
I started getting Restylane in 2004 for nasolabial folds at 39. We used any extra Restylane in my lips, which already had a great shape but I have a small mouth, so it helped it appear slightly bigger and the entire affect was amazing. Natual looking, no duck-bill overdone lips that look ridiculous and conspicuous. I'm 43 and most people think I'm in my 20's - more
I got Resty injected in my lips and also in the fine lines around my mouth. The whole thing was horrible and I am positive I will not do this again. Funnily enough I didn’t have a problem when I was with the dermatologist. In the chair I hardly felt a thing and I went home feeling very pleased with myself. I couldn’t see results due to swelling but I thought this was normal.... more
I've had my lips done many times and it never really hurt until this time. Either the doctor was trying to kill me or the stuff is just so thick that it's painful. I was literally crying during the procedure. I was swollen and brused for about two weeks and it's very lumpy. I'm not pleased at all. more
