Is 36 Too Young For Radiesse To Smile Lines? I am 36 and considering to correct my smiling lines.Am I too young?How much would that cost for only those lines?Thank you

A: Radiesse for smile lines

There really is not an age restriction for treatment with fillers. It really depends on the depth of the wrinkles. Radiesse and other fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane are excellent fillers to soften smile lines. The cost will vary depending on the amount of product needed to correct the lines. If the wrinkles are not very deep, I would estimate $350-$550 per treatment.

A: Swelling after facial fillers

Swelling after filler injections is common. I would agree with the other physicians who expressed concern about Radiesse in the lips as it is specifically contraindicated for use in the lips. I would also highly suggest talking with your treating physician as persistent swelling at two weeks can indicate an adverse reaction or may not be swelling and may be the result of the filler.

	“I LOVE IT! Use a Reputable Doctor!” I went to a plastic surgeon who told me he would NEVER put Radiesse in lips (it's not approved for this use) and hesitates to use it for NL folds.
