Dr. Whetstone made me feel very comfortable when I went to a consultation for a Tummy Tuck. He is very professional, explained the surgery and its outcomes, and really seems to care about his patients. I met 3 other PS but I chose Dr Whetstone. I am happy I did.

5 stars across are all well deserved. He didn't charge me an initial consultation fee. I actually went back for a 2nd visit with more questions and he was very fair. One thing I wanted done he actually told me not to mess with right now, maybe in 10 yrs! :)

Dr. Whetstone is a 1983 graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where he finished in the top 10 of his class and received the prestigious Mosby Award for Academic Excellence.

Following four years of general surgery training, he was awarded a residency in plastic and reconstruction surgery at Cronin, Brauer and Biggs surgical residency program in Houston, where he received extensive training in cosmetic procedures. He also received training at M.D. Anderson Hospital, where he focused on reconstructive cancer surgery - including post-mastectomy breast reconstruction and microsurgery.
