| Education | Dr. Schmidt graduated 12th in his class at The University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio Dental Branch in 1982. In addition to the required dental school curriculum, He also completed elective courses in Orthodontics and Oral Surgery while he was in attendance. |
| Post-medical school training | He attends more than 2 ½ weeks of high quality knowledge and technique advancing courses each year. He has received some of his most in-depth post-graduate education in New York, San Francisco, Miami, and Dallas. Dr. Schmidt was one of the founding members of the Central Texas Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. As a member the Academy of General Dentistry, he was awarded the distinguished status of Fellow in 1993 for successfully completing testing based on over 500 hours of post-graduate continuing education. |
