Can a Browlift Be Used to Correct a High Forehead?

I'm a 20 year old female with a high forehead and a widow's peak that gives the impression of a receding hairline. Taking my age into account and the fact that I am not interested in a browlift for anti-aging effects, would a forehead lift to correct my hairline be possible without giving me a bug eyed appearance?

A: Scalp Advancement or Hair transplant

If you have a high hairline and / or large forehead that is bothering you , consideration for a scalp advancement or hair transplant should be made .  If you are 20 and the eyebrows are where you want them the scalp advancement would entail posterior dissection under the scalp and not under the forehead so the brow position should not be changed.  The less invasive option would be a hair transplant  using the Neograft technique which avoids a strip excision of hair baring skin.

I would think the hair transplant in your case would be preferable.

Facelift and Lateral Brow or Eye Fillers First?

I had an endobrow lift over a year ago, lateral brows have fallen. My inner upper eyelid junctions are more hollowed out. From an aesthetic standpoint, does it make more sense to have the upper eyelid junctions filled in, and some type of filler placed under the lateral brow to try to raise first, or have the facelift and necklift first? The doctor who would be doing the surgery said he could also do a lateral browlift at the same time. Does filling in under lateral brows work? Surgery and fillers have to be done by two different doctors. Thanks.

A: Lateral brow hollow

Without pictures it would be hard to tell what is best but in general the endoscopic brow lift is not as reliable as other techniques and the lateral brow hooding is common. At the time of a face lift it is reasonable to do a lateral brow lift on someone who has hooding of the lateral brow an this holds up well with time.

After these two procedures are done it would be appropriate to touch p the face with fillers as needed, if needed.
