I would recommend anyone to use Dr Proffer!
So I'm about 130lbs I'm very petite and have been small chested for a while! I had a consultation on 3/29/2022 and they were all so kind and answered all questions! My surgeon wasn't available so I spoke with his nurse who does the surgeries with him and we decided on 450CC from my 36A chest! I have a preop appointment with proffer on April 18 so I'll update if he decides to go smaller or bigger on me. I was worried because I'm 24 almost 25 I have 2 kids and got my tubes tied already but I have a kidney disease just cysts on my kidneys but I'm very healthy and I'm barely even stage one! I only get kidney pain during menstrual cycles so I'm on the depo birth control to stop the bleeding and stop my periods Updated on 2 Apr 2022: I have a hump back a bit and I'm an AA-A cup sometimes a B depending on the bra. My goal is to be a D cup if possible I wanna be as big and proportion as possible. I've been small all my life and I'm very happy with the customer service at Proffer in amarillo Texas! I did my research for about a month before deciding on making a consultation. The appointment was $100 to reserve and will be deducted from the cost of the surgery and the surgery hold was $500. My preop is coming up on April 18 and hopefully me and Dr. Proffer can come to a agreement on my new chest! I'm very excited and can't wait! Updated on 12 Apr 2022: So I saw dr Patrick tester and he decided he wanted to TRY 475CC on my left and 450 on my right since me left breast is a bit smaller! He said me having pectus excavatum (minor case of inverted chest for me) will give me the round fullness and cleavage I want! I also forgot to mention I have stage 1 polycystic kidney disease (cysts on my kidneys) and he said I'm young and healthy & they're going to run extra tests for my labs on Thursday April 14,2022. His method for me is under the muscle because I'm so thin and it'll look better under the muscles than over. I also got sent to pickup some medications down the street which didn't have a copay since I have some medical insurance but they have me on Ciprolaxen a antibiotic because my partner and I were intimate and it's to prevent a UTI before my labs pre op. Because of my kidney disease I'm prone to UTIs all the time. Even washing my hair and soap drops down onto my privates I'll get a UTI that way too!):Hydrocodene pain reliever post opKeflex antibiotic for post op Lunestra sleep aid post op. I also got 2 before leaving from my post op which are Bromelain which is a type of dietary supplement Arnica (helps bruising) for post op. I have to start bromelain 3 days before surgery on April 14, 2022 and the arnica day of surgery after I'm out I'm so excited for this journey and to post day 1, week 1, week 6, 6 months & a year after this!! I'm in no way promoting and encouraging you to do plastic surgery or something that probably won't be right for you yourself but this is my body my choice and my money and I've always been self conscious about my breasts even during intimacy with my husband I hate having the lights on or the sun out so I'm hoping this boosts my confidence in myself and with what I wear! I already also have a few regular sports bras 1 zip front fro healing and 4 regular with 2-3 bralette for after my wounds heal and I get the okay Updated on 18 Apr 2022: So a late update, but after my preop I was sent to go get blood work done and medications! I was soooo anxious and called on Friday April 15 (literally the next day) and they said all my blood work was perfect! I was sooo concerned about my kidneys and they added another blood tests and they said my kidneys are in really good shape and could handle the anesthesia! The nurse Morgan told me I'm going to get a call sometime Wednesday April 20 with instructions for my time to arrive for the surgery and any washing if needed! I was given a bottle of antiseptic I'm supposed to use in my hair and my skin where the surgery is going to be and Morgan told me to do it the night before and the morning before the surgery! I'll add a photo the morning of surgery and the result with my post op bra on! I'm so excited scared nervous and feel knots in my stomach but more excited than anything else!! I hope all goes well surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am April 21st! I was told to fast starting at 11:59 or midnight of April 20/21st so I have a 6 hour fast time in other words... I'm gonna miss being small and brakes but I'm ready to finally fill shirts and feel confident and sexy naked and intimate with my husband (sorry if that's TMI) Updated on 21 Apr 2022: I finally got my boobs and I could NOT be more happier! Dr Patrick is such a kind doctor and made me feel at ease! All the staff and nurses were all amazing as well! We did 475Cc on left and 450cc on right! I went with high profile silicone/gummy bear implants. I'm 5"4', 130lbs roughly, was a 36A/B bra with polycystic kidney disease and a minor case of pectus excavatum (inverted rib slightly rubs against my heart) Pain wise I'm about a 7-8 there's a ton of pressure on my upper half of the chest from top of cleavage and the curves of my upper breasts! I can't feel from the top of my nipples down! I can't wait to go to my follow up on April 27 2022! I took some pain medication called Hydrocodone with my antibiotics and brushing medicine! No sign of fever or anything wrong I'm just having trouble keeping my eyes open because of the anesthesia! The pictures of me wearing a pink shirt were taken on April 19, 2022 and the blue sports bra is my post of (obviously haha) I'm not encouraging plastic surgery forcing you to go out and get it because of my experience! I'm just here helping others if they have any questions or concerns! Updated on 22 Apr 2022: Loving the cleavage and shape can't wait until they drop and fluff! Having a lot of tightness/heavy pain and my hydro isn't working for me so I was prescribed some muscle relaxers I have to get later today Updated on 22 Apr 2022: I scheduled my consultation on March 30, 2022 was seen by him for my preop on April 11 and also for my surgery on April 21! He is such a handsome soul and he did an amazing job! Today April 21 is the day he did my surgery and I absolutely love my results! I haven't even seen myself bare chest yet and I'm already loving them so incredibly much! His bedside manner is fantastic and he knows what he's doing! The pink shirt is my before front and side and the blue one is my post op! I'm 24, mom of a 3 and 1 year old since 2018 and 2020, I have stage 1 polycystic kidney disease and did the proper blood work and asked for extra to make sure the anesthesia would be okay with my kidneys & he assured me I'm young and healthy otherwise and was confident we could go through with it! I also have a minor pectus excavatum so that's why I have such deep and beautiful cleavage! This man made my dreams come true and I already feel sooooo much more confident in my body! I'm in no way forcing ANYONE to get plastic surgery but this is my review my opinion and my experience with this doctor his staff & facility! Updated on 22 Apr 2022: My bra I'm wearing now after my surgery says 34D it's a bit tight so I think a 36D would be better because of the bloating and swelling I took off the bra just for a few moments and it's excruciating for me because of the soreness and tightness. To my previous moms the pain is similar to when your breasts are filling up with milk but you can't pump and it's that tight pressure pain! Updated on 24 Apr 2022: So I've been taking my medication as recommended and broke out in hives. I called my nurse emergency line and she told me to stop taking everything and use Tylenol and Benadryl. She thinks it's the antibiotic only but I'm stopping them all just to be safe and only taking the Hydro as needed for the pain. They couldn't have known I was allergic so I'm not upset just recommend to take Benadryl to counter act the rash attack. Otherwise I've noticed a gurgle sound when I raise my arms I'm 3 days post op and I can raise them sort of higher but get a sharp tightness feeling in both breasts and it feels like my implants are sliding around when I make any sort of minor chest movements like drinking water, lifting a spoon to feed myself etc but was told it was from an air pocket and my breasts and muscles are still trying to accompany one another so to give it some time. I have no fever and my pain level of 1 being good and 10 being bad I'm about a 3 I only really feel pain when I get up by myself I'm trying not to use too much of my upper muscles mainly my abs or legs and my husband helps me when I can. I can finally wipe myself after using the bathroom but I still haven't had pooped yet since day of surgery and I look like I'm 4 months pregnant again so I'll be starting some laxatives this afternoon. My husbands taking me to get a new bra because the band for my current size is very tight and I know it's a compression bra but it's very very uncomfortable. My bra I'm wearing says 34D and originally I was a 36A/B so I got to the D cup I wanted just not the band size I like Updated on 24 Apr 2022: Got some bras I'm a XXL in target zip up sports bras My band is 30 and bust (from swelling) is 36 so I'm a 30DDD from bra calculator but I think I'm a 36D now maybe a 36DD in Vs bras Updated on 27 Apr 2022: Went to my doctor and still have my bandaid dressing on. My right best is a little higher than my right because of my muscle build up from being right handed. Was told to start exercises today push down 5 times on left and 10 times on the right to help the implant "drop" next week is my next appointment for the dressings and possible new bra to wear. He said I'll be moved from a zip up to non wire bra with closed front! Updated on 5 May 2022: Loving them and i finally got clearance to sleep on my side!! They said since my pectus is making my cleavage so tightly close sleeping on my side during healing will help them stretch so I can wear underwire bras They also told me I can stop eating the zip front sports bras and wear wired/non wired regular bras so I got 1 of each at Walmart Gray one is ribbed stretchy size L and is a regular padded bra. Baby Blue one is wired (still hurts my cleavage to wear so I'll have to try again next week) size 36D and black one is non wired and soft Size L which is what I'm gonna wear for now with my new crop tops I got Also some of my stitches were removed not all of them but some clear one (I didn't get to snag a picture) but she took off my surgery white steri tape and used 3M paper tape from Walmart and I can change them every few days since my kidney disease is delaying my scar healing. Tylenol isn't working well for me and I can't take other pain reliever so I had to get a 3rd refill of Hydrocodone with Tylenol because it's the only thing that works!): Soreness and tightness still there and it hurts to stretch my arms over my head it feels like the skin above my rib cage (where my rib ends towards the bottom above my belly button) has been bruised but I was told it's normal since my skin is stretching to accompany such a huge bust difference. Overall I'm so happy for this change and I feel so sexy! I'm still working on my self esteem when I watch "nudie" scenes with my hubby and I see the lady's breast flopping about haha but all in good time! I'd do this surgery again and again if I had a chance to go back and change the past! I have no regrets and I can change my mind on a cleavage tattoo since mine is so close together but I can always get a underbust sternum!! Also got the clear to drive as long as I haven't taken my medication! Updated on 9 May 2022: I was told I could wear wire bras so I got a 36D and made sure to eat it loose enough but I think my cleavage area is still too tight because of my pectus so it... kinda burned my skin?? My skin is piling off I thought it was just an indent ion and it felt like fire ants biting me. I've ALWAYS worn Walmart bra and never had any issues so I can only assume that my bust isn't set just yet... Updated on 12 May 2022: Was wondering why lifting my right arm hurts and noticed a vein slightly forming under my shirt so I got undressed and saw it was a deep vein looked it up and discovered it was a mondors cord that happens after surgery First picture is of me of my right under bust towards my stomach, I have an appointment next week so I'll mention it if it comes up! I'm currently taking arnica as an anti inflammatory hoping it helps. The bottle says 4 times a day but before surgery I was told once a day Updated on 18 May 2022: Floral shirt is me a yet before getting pregnant I was 100lbs and size AA Pink shirts I was pregnant with my son in 2018 I was 100lbs before and 145lbs after but I ate junk food thinking I'd be fine and that wasn't the case I gained so much weight and got stretch marks when my milk came in I was 32AA to 34C Blue shirt my birthday 3 days before having my son Red shirt my son was about 7 months and I was done breastfeeding around month 4 and my breasts flattened Gray shirt with pink shorts pregnant with my daughter in 2020 I was about 110 before and 135 after having her she was born a month early due to complications. I was a 34A to a 34/36A after her my milk came in only for a month and then I stopped producing it because of medication I was taking for my kidneys and had no choice but to formula feed her Updated on 3 Jun 2022: 34D as of now (lost some weight) I love them so much! Updated on 1 Jul 2022: Went swimming once with them just recently and I LOVED how I felt in my swimsuit! My scars are still pretty visible. No go on breast or cleavage tattoo still for another 6-8 months so I'm going to wait a year or so. I've been exploring outfits and I've been so excited to see how I look in things I've always wanted! Very sensitive nipples still and I have a milk duct clog every so often that I have to soak and use a ear swap to clean up. My breasts some days are good and there's no pain and other days there is but I've been living on my tummy since I got the "okay" so it could be that too But here's where I'm at now and I love them. I don't regret it at all!!! Updated on 11 Jul 2022: So they're still kinda hard and it hurts to bounce around a lot but way better than they used to be I'm roughly 9 weeks post op now Updated on 11 Jul 2022: Updated on 14 Jul 2022: I'm at a 34/36D now I'm in between sizes too depending on brand so VS I'm 34D and at Walmart I'm a 36D. However at forever 21 or rue 21 I'm a 34C so it all depends on the bra and brand for me. They're easy to move and change into things
I am 29 years old and have had 3 pregnancies and breast fed two of my babies. Prior to my first pregnancy, i was a size 34DD and I loved my boobs! And of course after pregnancy they started to start their journey towards the ground which I was not ok with! After my last pregnancy in 2020 we made the decision to not have anymore kiddos, and with that decision I wanted to look into getting some maintenance on the girls. I made an appointment with Dr. Proffer on May 3, 2021. I know everyone says to see multiple doctors to ensure the perfect fit but from the moment I walked in I felt completely at ease. I was so nervous even though it was only a consult but the entire staff was kind and helpful and it settled my nerves. Dr. Proffer answered all my questions and spoke to me as an equal which not many doctors do. I scheduled implants and a lift a few weeks later and surgery was set for June 10th! Updated on 16 Jun 2021: Arrived at the surgery center at 6:15. Everyone was so kind and helpful, they made me feel completely at ease which is a big deal bc I’m naturally a very anxious/nervous person. Everything went pretty well, I had to have a drain on my left side which was expected and I was back home before noon. I slept a lot! There wasn’t a bunch of pain but more discomfort and pressure. Also- you don’t realize how much you use your chest muscles! Updated on 16 Jun 2021: I’ve gone back and forth from loving them already to wondering if I made the right choice. I think the only reason I’m doubting is a mix of the discomfort and the fact that having the lift and implants means we are finished having kiddos. So I’m a ball of emotions!! Day 3- swelling has gone down, my left side is more swollen than the right. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m nursing the left side since there’s the drain and I’m paranoid to pull it and so I’m using my right arm to do everything which is helping ease up being sore and what not. Who knows! Updated on 17 Jun 2021: I had my one week appointment June 16th. I was hoping to get the drain out but it was a no go, still have too much drainage. I am hoping that I get rid of the drain by Friday, if not I see my doctor again on Tuesday. I’m feeling a lot more comfortable now but holy moly I was not prepared for the bloating and gas pains from the pain meds !! I feel like I am 8 months pregnant with this bloat. I’m hoping it relieves itself soon. At the appointment I was able to finally see my boobs unwrapped, I was nervous and expecting them to look a lot worse than they do! I am loving the results and so so excited for them to drop and fluff! My doctor and his staff have been absolutely amazing and reassuring throughout and I am so glad I chose them! Updated on 28 Jun 2021: So I finally have my drain out- it was removed June 22nd! Removal didn’t hurt but it felt really weird. At my appointment we changed bandages and talked about the swelling in my left breast. Instead of having an appointment in a month they are going to see me in two weeks to check on swelling which makes me feel better!! Pain is a million times better, I am still sore but it’s manageable! Mainly I just feel like there are rocks in my chest and when I bend over it feels super weird. I was pleasantly surprised at how my nipples look, I was expecting some Frankenstein monster nips! The tape is irritating my skin a little but it isn’t painful, just a little red. Updated on 29 Jun 2021: Just wanted to update with pictures. My left is still higher than my right which is making me nervous but I’m having faith that it’s going to even out. I have to remind myself I’m only 3 weeks out…well almost. And compared to how swollen the left was to begin with, there is definitely some progress. I am getting a little nervous about how close they are getting, but I think part of that is I’m a bit paranoid. No more watching Botched for me!! Updated on 26 Jul 2021: I’m almost to the 7 week mark! Time is flying by! For the most part I am feeling great; however, my left side is still a bit behind in healing. I still get some pain in my left side, there are parts of my breast that are numb still, but my right side has been perfect! I’ve gone from wearing a compression bra into a bra with no underwire, my doc called this the shaping cups, and for the last 4 weeks I’ve been in a bra with underwire night and day. My doctor refers to this as underwire torture. I see my doctor again on august 4th to check in and see how everything is going! I’ll update again then!
Currently 6 weeks post op and beyond happy with results so far. I had a tummy tuck with Lipo 360, and breast lift with fat transfer. Belly button is perfect and tummy tuck scar is low. Highly recommend Patrick Proffer! Updated on 29 Jun 2021: Before picture from surgeons office. After picture is just over 3 months post op. Loving my result and the surgeons office and staff has been amazing! Can't wait to continue to see my results!! Can't believe this is really me!
I have only had a consultation so far for breast reduction, but the consultation was far better than my pervious one with another surgeon. Dr Proffer and staff were great and spent a great deal of time explaining every step of the procedure as well as to why each step would be done the way it would be. I am excited to have them complete my surgery. Will keep everyone posted throughout my process. Updated on 2 Feb 2020: Starting at about 36I. Hoping for a C after settling. February 3rd is when surgery will happen. Will post after photos later in the week. So far everyone has been great. I have faith all will turn out well. Updated on 5 Feb 2020: Here is one after photo. Ill post more once drains are removed probably mid next week. All Dr Proffer's staff is incredible. From the office staff to the NP to the Doctor. Im happy I used them. If anyone needs a plastic surgery Id suggest visiting with them. Updated on 10 Feb 2020: Feeling so much better now that the drains are out. Still really tired and a bit dizzy, but overall not too bad. Thought Id share a good side by side comparison photo. Well worth having done. So far happy with the results. Updated on 25 Feb 2020: Just thought Id share my 2 week and 3 week photos. I feel everything is healing well. They look great. Went from 36I to right now measuring 36D, but still experiencing some swelling. Im struggling a bit with some mental aspects of it all, but Im very happy with my results. Updated on 9 Sep 2020: Super happy with my results. I had surgery back in February, thankfully before the whole COVID situation happened. My scars are very minimal anyone who has seen them said they can't believe I've even had surgery. I'm also very pale so that isn't easy to accomplish. I feel better than I ever have, and believe I look better than I ever did as well. I'm so grateful that I went with Patrick and not the other surgeon that I had originally looked into. Updated on 13 Sep 2020: Couldnt be happier with my results. Would recommend procedure and doctor over and over again. Not only is my back, shoulder, and neck pain improved, but so has my appearance and confidence. I could never feel comfortable without a bra before when I was at about a 40I bra, now at about a 36/38 D and no longer feel everyone is staring at my boobs.
1 year and 8 months ago, I seriously made the best decision I've ever made! Dr. Proffer was the absolute best! I could not decide on the size I wanted for my breast augmentation so I told him minutes before my surgery just to decide himself and he could not have made a better choice! I never had breasts before. I think I was less than a 32 A and have had 2 children and I wanted to go big! He used MENTOR Smooth Round Ultra High Profile 455 cc and his decision was perfect! Now I'm a 32 DD and the size fits my frame and I feel like my body is in proportion now! The procedure went perfect, the healing process was super easy, and I can hardly even see the scars at all! I recommend him to anyone even thinking about doing this! Also, the staff was wonderful! This decision was a great life-changing experience and it was worth every penny! Thank you, Dr. Proffer. I knew at my consultation that he was going to be the one fixing me. Dr. Proffer is very professional and answered all the questions I had about my surgery confidently. He assured me that I was going to have great results, I feel great. Wonderful bedside manner and did a beautiful job! All of Dr Proffers office staff I came in contact with were very sweet and helpful. Always felt comfortable when I was there. I would recommend Dr Proffer as your surgeon, look no further!
Everyone in the office was very professional, kind and made my husband and myself feel great about what I had done. Made me smile every time I went in the office. Explained as much as I wanted to hear, and answered every question I asked. Nothing was too silly to ask.
Amazing felt comfortable and very informed. He was never afraid to answer any of my questions. The office staff and nurses are some of the most helpful people. I am so glad I did this for myself. I haven't been this happy with my body in years.
I am so happy with the results of my reduction and lift. I have breastfed 3 children. I went from a 32GG to a 34D. My recovery was great, and I have minimal scarring. Dr. Proffer and his staff were excellent and answered any question I had along the way.
