A: Can One Have Thermage on Tummy and Then Get Pregnant?

Skin Tightening by radiofrequency devices such as Thermage or Accent are safe and would not cause a problem with a future pregnancy.

The skin would not be made so tight that it would not stretch again when needed.

What is the Best Treatment(s) for Brown Spots, Deep and Fine Lines?

I was recommended to have Thermage, Fraxel and Arthefill for tightening of my skin, brown/age spots, and deep wrinkles from the nose to the mouth and fine lines around the eyes. Do I need all three? If I do, which one should I do first, next and the last? I am a 60 years old Asian female, but they said my skin was very good for that age.

A: Best Treatment for Brown Spots and Lines

Fraxel or a chemical peel would work best for fine lines and brown spots. Either can be effective and the result depends on the experience of the person doing the treatment.

Fillers would help most with the deeper lines. Again, it is the experience and ability of the person doing the injecting that determines the outcome.

Thermage however is different. Some people get good skin tightening and others even with an experienced operator get little or no skin tightening.

The order of treatment really depends on when you can fit them into your schedule. Think about how much down time you can afford. If you can only have one or two days of "down time," you may have to schedule several mini sessions. If you can afford a weeks down time, then the stronger more aggressive treatments might be best for you so you can get results quicker.

I Have Loose Skin in Abdominal What Should I Do? (photo)

I am 22 yrs old i am very insecure about my stomach. I can not afford to have a tummy tuck for 2 reasons: a. can not afford to take time off work and b. the cost... Would I be an ideal candidate for smart lipo? or maybe even thermage? i dont care about the stretch marks i just want a flat tight stomach.. i have been going to the gym and not matter how much weight i loose my stomach remains the same.. I NEED HELP.. i also had my appendix removed hint the dot above what is suppose to be my navel.

A: Loose Skin Requires a Tummy Tuck

As a dermatologic surgeon, I will say ditto to what the other doctors that have responded. There is no miracle cream or laser that will help.

Focus on something else.

If you must have the surgery and cannot afford it, try visiting a University Medical Center to see if they will do your case for free. It is possible you could have this done by a doctor in training. I was one of those once and I think we did a mighty good job for a lot of people.
