I had one syringe of Juvederm put into my lips. The swelling was more than I expected, but I used advil and ice to help it. It was not painful at all. I do like the look of the lips, but I don't like how stiff my upper lip is, especially when I talk. People have asked me repeatedly what is wrong with my upper lip. How long will the stiffness last? I had the procedure done on December 19th.
The stiffness can be due to swelling whcih subsides in a couple of days. Another reason is streching the tissue which can take 1-2 weeks. If you are concerned you need to see your doctor.
Hello I Had Juvederm Lip Injections 3 Days Ago. and also had dental block for the precedure as well..ive noticed that there is quite some swelling between the lip and nose area and face itself...i also bled quite a bit in the upper portion of my lips during this... ive now noticed red bloches inside my upper lips... and a slight little like transpatrent mark....do i have anything to be concerned about? and how do i know whats swelling and whats the actual product...Thankyou ..kittling
It is too early to tell if you will need any more juvederm in the central portion of your lip. Once the swelling subsides you may consider checking back with your doctor.
