Had Gynecomastia Surgery 5 Years Ago but Nipple is Still Puffy, What Can Be Done?

I had a lump removed from my left nipple when i was 17. they made an incision around the bottom of the areola and removed the glandular tissue, and there wasnt really a need for lipo. It healed up fairly well and it looks alot better than it was, but it has never fully returned to normal. There is no hard tissue left under the skin but it is still puffy and bigger than the right side. it is even noticeable through a t shirt. im not fat but would burning a bit of bodyfat help this?

A: Incomplete Man Breast (Gynecomastia) Correction

The most common reason for peristent "Puffy Nipple" after Man Breast Correction surgery is that not enough breast gland tissue was removed leaving some under the nipple complex. The best way to correct your condition would be to go back and complete the job.

Good Luck.

After Gynecomastia Surgery, Chest Has Collapsed. What Can I Do? (photo)

i have Gynecomastia and i had Gynecomastia surgery 10 days ago. My photos are at the attachment. My both breasts has collapsed. as like crater. Can you tell me fix itself in 3-4 mounths. Otherwise i have to undergo an operation again. my physicology worse and my english too. thanks.

A: Unstatisfctory Gynecomatia Treatment

At less than 2 weeks after surgery it is too soon to reach any definitive conclusions. That being said your present result does not seem ideal. You have an omega shaped star which was placed on nplaced rest skin. The crater / shot glass deformity and raised periphery suggest that too much breat gland tissue was removed and, or not enough breast fat tissue was liposuctioned. You should wear a chest compression garment for a month after the surgery and begin to re-evaluate your situation in 4-6 weeks when things will be clearer.

Is the Fat in my Chest Building Up Again After Gynecomastia Surgery?

2 months after my gynecomastia surgery, my chest has started to get a build up under my nipple. More so the left side than the right. After my surgery I had a perfect flat chest and I was over th moon, but over the last couple of weeks it has got worse and im very convernced. The pictures with bruising are 2 weeks after my surgery and the last is current. I just want to know whats going on? im seeing my surgeon at the end of feb but should I see him before to get it sorted before it gets worse?

A: Incomplete Gynecomatia (Male Breasts) Treatment

There is no substitute for a physical examination but based on these photographs you may have been partially treated. The most common treatment is a combination liposuction and removal of the remaining breast gland.  In your case the scar along the upper circumference of the areolas and the sunken appearance suggests the gland was surgically removed but the presence of a peripheral fullness suggests the fatty portion of the breasts was not entirely liposuctioned off. By two months the swelling is nt ugly resolved but is beginning to clear up. You will need to discuss it with your surgeon and together decide what should be done when the swelling fully resolves.
