I'm 18 years old, 173cm tall and weigh about 63 kilograms. My left breast (B cup) is a full cup size larger than my right. I hate having asymmetrical breasts and really want to have a fat transfer procedure to make the right breast a B cup to match. I'm fairly fit so I'm worried I won't have enough fat to 'harvest'. Also, what would be the cost of this procedure be in Australia? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! (Oh and I definitely do not want breast implants)
The body of information is growing rapidly in fat transfer for breast enhancement and reconstruction. Yes, it works. You can expect to get about a 150 mL increase in the amount of volume in the right breast. This would give you a more even match between your two breasts. Fat can be taken from your flanks, butt, tummy, hips, and/or thighs...or...a little from each.
You will have to see plastic surgeons in Australia for cost estimates. Best of Luck!
I am about to have breast implants, but since I don't have a lot of breast fat on the upper breast area I was considering having a fat transfer as well. Is it ok to have the fat transfer procedure done AFTER I get the implants?
Yes, it can be done at the same time or after. Care has to be taken to make sure that your breast implants are not damaged at the time of fat transfer. Best of luck.
i am a small framed caucasian/asian 40 year old. Can I have fat grafting done on my face if I have had a filler Six months ago (hylaronia, I think that is how to spell it) but it has clearly worn off. I really want to have a Brazilian butt lift and have my crows feet and forehead worked on as well. I have been working on increasing my body fat % which is now 19%. I am wondering if I am a candidate for a BBL with no implants and if I would be able to address my face issues at the same time.
To obtain living fat to transfer to other locations in the body the suction force of ordinary liposuction must be lowered significantly. The fat needs to be separated from blood and damaged fat cells so the only volume transferred is presumably living fat cells.
The fat volumes required for a thorough facial rejuvenation are significantly lower than those required to augment breasts or buttocks.
Depending on the amount of available fat and the amount of desired buttock correction, it is quite reasonable to perform facial fat transfer before turning you over to complete the back and hip liposuction and transfer all the remaining fat into the buttocks.
