Can I Drink Before my Breast Augmentation?

I am getting breast implants in two weeks and have a girls night out planned the weekend before. I'm not a big drinker, but is it ok if I have one or two cocktails a few nights before surgery? I've heard a few different opinions.

A: Alcohol before breast augmentation

As long as it is more than 24 -48 hours before, it should be okay.  Always drink responsibly and in moderation. I'm actually starting to sound old. ;) Best of Luck.

Can a Short Sharp Fall Damage my Under Muscle Surgery-1wk In?

I had under muscle silicone breast augmentation one week ago and today fell and bumped a little down the stairs. I would say that light to just under moderate impact was felt in breasts. There was more discomfort than pain. I am wearing a sports bra but it's not completely tight as my sides are sore from swelling. Could this cause any damage or am I needlessly panicking? Thanks for any advice!

A: Fall one week post op after silicone breast implants

Thank you for your question. To make yourself feel better and your surgeon, it is probably a good idea to just go in and get it checked out to make sure that you are okay.  It might be inconvenient for you to make the extra trip, but it can put your mind at ease so you won't lose sleep worrying about it. Good Luck.

Do Breast Implants and Chicken Nuggets Share Ingredients?

I saw a string of retweets on Twitter about Chicken McNuggets and breast implants containing the same ingredient -- Polydimethylsiloxane, also referred to as dimethylpolysiloxane. It appears McDonald's does list this as an ingredient in their nuggets -- is it also used in breast implants?

A: Silicone is found in many places you wouldn't think

Thank you for your question. I agree with the answers below.  Silicone and some of its related compounds are ubiquitous, meaning found everywhere on the planet Earth. This doesn't mean that when you are eating a Chicken McNugget, that you are taking a bite out of what could be a breast implant. True, true, and unrelated.
