Hello,I am a nineteen year old male and for quite some time now I have been dissatisfied with the appearance of my nose. My main dislike of it is the shape of my bridge. I really feel it throws off the harmony of my face. I was wondering if straightening it would make me have more of an appealing look? Also, I am biracial (black/white) so I have somewhat of a bulbous nose. The size of it is really noticeable when I smile. Is it recommended that I get it refined? How can I make it look natural?

your desire to feel at ease with your facial features is justified. i use conputer imaging to help the patient define a goal. i prefer a surgical technique with no external excisions. your tip and bridge can certainly be modified to a more pleasing shape.
Also my cast would be removed 5 days after rhinoplasty surgery. I thought it was a minimum of 7 days after. Was also told I can fly 5-6 days after my surgery. Am I getting positive information?
Heather,
It's true that the nasal cast is more often removed after 7 days. However, removing the cast a little earlier will almost certainly not change the long-term result.
Flying 5-6 days after the surgery is ok so long as your post-operative recovery is smooth.
Hope that helps.
