Face and Neck Lifts

Dr. Pontell performs the traditional facelift and the mini facelift. The traditional facelift is performed under general anesthesia and addresses wrinkles, jowls, and sagging skin in the lower two-thirds of the face, the jawline, and the neck. It involves an incision that is hidden within the hairline at both temples that extends down the natural creases in front of the ear, inside the opening of the ear canal, and behind the ears, ending in the hairline behind the ears. The traditional facelift also utilizes a small incision under the chin to allow the loose muscles in the neck and excess fat to be addressed.
