See above. No cons - would use again. I had bags under my eyes that caused my to look tired all of the time. I had upper and lower eyelid surgery and my eyes look great but very natural. In fact, no one has asked if I had any surgery they just comment that I look good. more

I have lower eye bags that I want to get rid of. The hot news these days is laser assisted blepharoplasty, but when I read more that approach also requires stitches. What's the deal and why is it so great? More confusion is the issue of "festoons" very eye bags and many people warning having lower lid blepharoplasty will excacerbate festoons? Got upper lids done 10 days ago. Love the result! Painless, some swelling/bruising, helps to use cold/heat for 6 days. I was tired of looking tired. My upper lids seemed to droop down and make me look older than I am, as well as make me feel like I was always squinting. It has only been 10 days, but I can see a huge difference in my eyes. Worth it BUT ONLY IF you get a skilled surgeon, not like the dermatologist-gone-cosmetic-surgeon who did my eyelids in the photo below. Had it performed due to sagging lid that was beginning to obsccure vision in right eye. I was out and about within 3 days. In church within 5 and back to teaching in 6. People have commented that I look much younger, more refreshed, and more awake. more
