I had some procedures done that did not yield good results and left my skin and tissues very damaged in the neck region. I now don't have enough fat in my neck which has caused my bands to show. I've noticed when I pull my skin up and tighten things it makes the bands disappear. My neck looks so unnatural and I've been forced to wear turtle necks and scarfs out in public due to feeling so self-conscious. I'm wondering if a facelift can correct something like this?
the neck is made of three structures muscle, fat and skin. it appears that you have had one of the three addressed and not the other two. you need to have the excess skin removed and the muscles repositioned. i would be careful about removing any more fat ; it appears you may have had too much removed already. am not sure how long ago your last procedure was. give it a good year before embarking on additional surgery good luck
Is it safe to use someone who is not Board Certified for a face lift and what is your opinion of using the Lifestyle Lift procedure?
Anyone who has completed medical school and an internship can get a license to practice medicine and perform surgery. Board Certification requires prolonged training, followed by oral and written examinations. To have cosmetic surgery by someone that is not board certified would not be your best choice. My experience with lifestyle lifts is that the results are not long lasting and have to be redone more quickly than a standard Facelift.
