I am 33 years old, I got 3 kids, youngest is 2 years old, 6 yers ago I got breast implants and I hd no problem with the general anhestesia, but now that I have 3 kids I feel bad if sometingh happen to me who would take care of them. I want to have a nice body like before, So wich one would be the safest and would help me flatten my belly and hips. thanks PS when do I need to do it t be ready for this summer

A: Anesthesia and liposuction

You could have any type of liposuction using local anesthesia with or without sedation. Laser lipo does require less anesthesia fluid than some other types.

A: Procedure time for smart lipo

The 2 1/2 hrs is plenty of time for this procedure. He should be able to do the abdomen and flanks during that time.

Is Smartlipo for Me? I'm 19 Years Old with a BMI of 35.

I went for a consultation today and they told me that smartlipo would work for me since I'm so young and my skin can "bounce back", but after reading about the side effects I'm not sure if it's right for me. What can i expect after the procedure, having such a high BMI (bumps, uneven areas, extreme swelling, long recovery time, etc.? Thank You

A: Smart lipo with high BMI

You have a weight problem that you need to get under control before you do any type of liposuctioning.  You need to learn why you are overweight and what you can do about it. Any money that you anticipate paying for liposuctioning should go toward learning about weight and losing weight. You are young and need to start developing habits that you can use over your lifetime to control your weight.

Doing lipo at this point is a waste of your money. Without fundamental changes in your behavior you will gain the fat back.

Best of luck
