What is the Best Way to Treat Deep Wrinkles Under the Eyes?

TCA peel, Frac.Repair??? Whats the best result!!

A: treatment of wrinkles around the eyes

The best option for treating wrinkles around the eyes is laser resurfacing, either fractional CO2 or ablative CO2 laser.  This will rid the lower lids of wrinkles and tighten up the skin at the same time.  If there are bags under the eyes,  then some form of blepharoplasty would help get rid of the bags and also tighten up the skin and remove some of the wrinkles.  If there is a deep groove along the junction of the lower lid and cheek, then a filler is your best option such as Juvederm.

Treatments for Dark Complexions with Age Spots?

Is the Fraxel laser procedure the best choice for me to get clearer looking skin on my hands and face? My skin is dark.

A: Reducing brown spots in dark skinned individuals The Fraxel laser can safely be used in darker skinned individuals when the proper precautions are taken. I would make sure you are on Retin A, and a akin bleaching cream at least a month prior to the treatment. Also anti-inflamatories have proven to help reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. Sometimes it is helpful to do a test patch to see how your skin will respond prior to doing the full face.

Is the fraxel laser good for under eye wrinkles?

I have fine lines directly under my eyes. My doctor applied Botox to the outer eye area (where the lines were very minimal); but I still have fine lines. I've tried Fraxel under my eyes about 6 times last year, and saw a vast improvement. They still bother me though. Should I go back for more Fraxel to build more collagen? Thanks.

A: Consider a fractional CO2 laser

If you had some improvement with the fraxel, but the wrinkles have now returned only after a year, then I would consider something more aggressive. I would reccommend a fractional CO2 laser, which will tighten the skin more than the Fraxel will. There are a number of lasers to choose from, including the DOT, Fraxwl repair, Deep Fx etc. Talk to your Plastic Surgeon and see what they have to offer.
