I had a great tummy tuck with lipo just a couple of days ago..looks great so far. Jumped on the scale, very surprised to of gained 6 pounds....
After any major surgery, the body tends to retain water; so this weight gain is completely normal. Relax, drink lots of fluids, and avoid the scale for a couple of weeks. It will take at least that long for your body to return to normal and rid itself of the excess fluid. Good luck!
I am a 30 year old mother with 3 children. I am in good health and want to know if its possible to have a tummy-tuck, breast agumentation and hestorectomy at once? I am 52kg and 1.68m. My operation is scheduled for the 25th Nov 2011 and my doctors think its save?
As you have seen by the answers, this is a very controversial topic. I would recommend that you discuss these issues with your surgeons -- both your plastic surgeon and your gyn surgeon. The risks are definitely increased by combining all three procedures; but they can still be performed safely at the same time, under the right circumstances. The deciding factors include your general health, the complexity of the surgeries, and the comfort levels of your surgeons and yourself. The main advantage of combining all procedures is that it means only one anesthetic for you and you can recover from all of the procedures at the same time. Good luck!
