A mommy makeover combines at least two cosmetic surgical procedures to help women reclaim their bodies after childbirth. The specific procedures you receive will depend on your personal aesthetic goals and can address multiple areas of the body. Most of the mommy makeovers I perform at my Columbus, Ohio practice include a breast augmentation and/or a breast lift, tummy tuck, and liposuction, focusing on the areas most affected by pregnancy and nursing. Sometimes, our patients will also opt for a lower body lift, to enhance the shape and tone of their abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. If long nights with your baby have left you looking tired, you may also opt for a blepharoplasty, which rejuvenates the appearance of your upper or lower eyelids. I perform hundreds of breast augmentations each year. Still, there is no “average” breast augmentation patient. Each patient I see at our state-of-the-art facility in Columbus has their own reasons for choosing to get breast implants—and I work with them to plan a procedure that best suits their figure and goals. Some patients want to restore their pre-baby body, while others hope to balance their breasts and redefine their shape, or restore volume that’s been lost over time. No matter your goals, I will help you choose the right breast implants and surgical approach for your frame, so you get the natural-looking results that you’re after.
Sometimes patients want to complement breast augmentation surgery with a breast lift, to reverse the effects of aging on breasts and produce a more youthful shape. We also offer breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and male breast reduction surgery.

Abdominoplasty

With age, pregnancy, or extreme shifts in weight, abdominal skin can lose elasticity, resulting in a lower-belly pooch that isn’t responsive to diet or exercise. Tummy tucks, or abdominoplasty, remove this excess skin while tightening and repairing weakened or separated abdominal muscles, helping you to achieve a flatter, well-contoured abdomen. Some patients also opt to combine a tummy tuck with liposuction, to fully contour their waist, flanks, and back. At our Columbus, Ohio practice, we also offer mini tummy tucks, which focus only on the area below the belly button and have a quicker recovery time. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and I will recommend the best treatment plan to give you a slimmer, more toned silhouette.
