Dr McMahan is an amazing artist. I call him that because of the work he can perform. He completely erased every detail of proof that I had kids. I have a 5 year old and 2 year old twins. I ended up with severe diastasis, an umbilical hernia, and major twin skin. I also had saggy books from breastfeeding. I had a TT with MR, HR, BA with silicone implants under the muscles (350cc and 375cc),... more
After years of trying to achieve the body image that I knew existed under under all this extra skin, Dr. McMahan made it happen like a work of art.
As I worked with diet and exercise and daily life, the disappointment and self confidence could never be achieved to show how I tried. So I would give up, gain extra weight, lose it, gain it. But with extra skin you either lose it and look baggy... more
Hi Everyone! I have decided to start my "blog" about my Mommy Makeover journey. I have been stalking this site for over a year and I love seeing everybody's results. I figured maybe mine could help someone someday as well. :)
I am having a TT, mini lift w/BA, and Lipo of the flanks and inner and outer thighs. My surgery is scheduled for March 11, 2015. My plastic surgeon is Dr. K. Roxanne... more
My goal was to have the improvements I've wanted for years before age 40, and at 37 I'm so excited (and nervous) to be realizing this HUGE goal!!
I fluctuated with weight all through my 20's, hitting my heaviest at 30. Through hard work I lost about 70 pounds and I've maintained an ideal weight for a few years and am financially able to proceed.
I'm still trying to imagine what it will be... more
I had been thinking about doing this for about 8 months. I read a lot of reviews but since I didn't know very many people in the area I decided to get 5 consultations. I'm glad I did, the first doctor I saw was Dr. Donaldson in Columbus. I felt comfortable with him but the cost was over $17000 for all three procedures which was out of my budget. Next I went to Dr, Sullivan her cost was around... more
I am just beginning the search to fix my mom bod. I have always had a smaller frame, standing 5'5 with an average of 140 lbs. Since beginning fertility experimentation in 2011, I gained some weight. I was 159 at my first Ob appt. In 2012 when I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was back to that weight 6 weeks post partum (after topping out at 213, @35 weeks gestation the night before c section).
I am... more
I am 33 years old, and fitness wise, in the best shape of my life. I do CrossFit 4-5 days a week, and love it. After 3 kids though, my diastasis just won't come back together, and my boobs look sad and pathetic. I'm 5'5", 125#. I am scheduled to have a hybrid tummy tuck (b/c I don't have enough extra skin for full TT, but need the full muscle repair) with a hernia repair, breast lift with... more
His staff is very friendly and helpful/flexible with scheduling your surgery as well as appointments. The doctor gives a honest opinion of what result you can expect from having surgery. He did not cut corners with me and just stuff in over-sized implants, when I got a much better result from having a breast lift. I have my body back after 2 c-sections and nursing. I am happy that I did not... more

Story of A Girl:
And so it began several years after high school. I had always been thin (115) and in shape but you know how the story goes, girl packs on 10, then 15...finds... more
My husband and I met with Dr. Wakelin and Melissa yesterday for BA and tummy tuck consultation. We also talked about fillers for my face. First off, I want to say that we absolutely felt no pressure whatsoever and felt that both Dr. Wakelin and Melissa listened to us and made recommendations based not only on their expertise, but on our desires as well. We are going to have another consult... more
After losing 96 pounds with the sleeve it left me with loose skin, sagging boobs with no volume. Then add that I've had 2 kids and you get why I chose the mommy makeover. I'm hoping for a surgery date sometime in January of 2014. So far my experience has been great, looking forward to working with Dr. Sullivan!! more
Hello ladies!!! I have been on this site since I scheduled my surgery back on May 2. I just want you all to know that I think the worse part of this entire surgery is the anxiety that one has leading up to the actually DOS. From the day I put down my initial payment, I made myself coo-coo! I would be online for hours on end reading mostly things that weren't good or positive. I had a very hard... more
I know it's a little early to start blogging about it but I am hoping for feedback from ladies who have had this done so that I won't be so afraid when the time comes. I am 65 years old and I have had two breast implant surgeries, first set was silicone 30 yrs ago, one broke, so second set saline, now the right one is broken, it's 21 yrs old so I am not surprised, they only last so long. ... more
Well its 24 hours and counting...tomorrow is my mommy makeover...breast augmentation, lift, tummy tuck (lipo) and maybe inner thigh lipo. (Its funny b/c I called the nurse today and said 'I don't know how to ask this but if he has some leftover room for more lipo can he take some from my inner thighs?" Her response was "oh yes, he is very generous with his lipo - haha."
Anyways...6 months... more

Backround: 30 year old mom of 3 yo son and 2 yo daughter. My pre-pregnancy weight was 158, I gained 40 lbs with my son, lost 20 lbs then gained 30lbs with my daughter topping the scale at 208!! I got down to 198 after having my daughter, but could not lose any weight! After almost two years at 198, I decided on surgery. Once I scheduled my surgery I busted my butt to get down to 180 lbs. I've... more
I knew before I ever had children that if my belly was loose I would get a tummy tuck. Now I have two boys ages 11 &5 and the time is mine to get that old belly back and get the breast that I have always wanted. I go in for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation on july 24! I am so excited I find it hard to sleep. I am more anxious and excited than nervous. I have purchased all of my herbal... more

After having my two wonderful children and having my tubes tied, I decided to approach my husband with the idea of the mommy makeover. My kids are now 4 and 1. With each of my pregnancies, I gained about 50 lbs. As I had reached within 10 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight, I noticed my body wasn't going back to that pre-pregnancy shape in no way. I wasn't even getting close. I approached... more
