I currently wear invisalign and am probably halfway through my treatment. I cannot stress enough how important it is to wear the aligners religiously. I’m 44 and I just started Invisalign yesterday. So far, so good. They are pretty comfortable. I haven’t had any pain and haven’t had to take any Advil even though the dentist recommended it for the first day.
The only minor inconvenience I have noticed so far is having to take them out to eat and then having to brush my teeth before I put them back in. At home that... more
I have 24 upper trays and 15 lower trays. I am at the end of tray 8, and I can already see much improvement on the bottom, but nothing yet on the upper. Also, my front incisor is rotated outward (which is really the only issue on the top teeth), and I wanted to see if anyone had anything similar to that. I had invisalign done to close 2 gaps in my teeth and correct my over-bite. My overbite was not corrected at all and only one of my two gaps in my teeth was closed. I am now going through "refinement" where I will have to wear additional trays to try to close the second gap.
