I'm going on hoildays and wondering if there is a period after your treatment that your face needs to look normal
Most patients start to see the effects of their Botox treatment in 2-3 days with maximum effect in about one week. Because there is a small risk of a droopy eyelid which can last up to three weeks, I recommend getting Botox at least three weeks before a big event where you may have pictures taken such as a wedding or a reunion.
Not so sure I want to try Botox. Are there good alternatives that will help me get rid of wrinkles on my forehead the same way Botox does?
Botox and/or Dysport are the best ways to deal with your forhead wrinkles. I do not believe there are any good alternatives to correct your wrinkles other than possibly skin care.
I’m told over and over again “what’s wrong”. I won’t even be in a deep thought. The furrow between my eyes is the culprit. I know Botox is used to remove these furrows, but I hate the idea of going to a dermatologist every several months to get an injection. I can’t imagine fitting it into my hectic schedule. What alternatives are there for my angry-look problem?
Botox is by far the best option for treatment of your brow furrow and should last 3-4 months. There is a surgery to remove the muscles that cause that furrow but this usually leaves the patient with a very flat affect and is not recommended.
