I had an endoscopic forehead lift 3 years ago. I am very unhappy with the result. My brows are lifted too high. I would like to restore brow original position. I don't like the new shape of my eyes as well. In August 2010 I had an endoscopic correction of brow position but, unfortunately, nothing has changed. Is it feasible to get brows to what they were before surgery? Can it be done endoscopically? Thanks in advance.
If you weaken the frontalis muscle with botox you may see a reduction in the brow heighth. The surgical procedures to correct this will be very unpredictable.
Will traditional brow lift leave me with large looking forehead? I want to have excess skin removed from my forehead. This would make my forehead look more in line with the rest of my face. Is that something that can be done? I guess the doctor would have to take strip of skin off the forehead, not in the hairline.
Also, is it possible to do what's called mattress stitching in line with this? This was done when I had both upper and lower eye lids done in 1991. I had no scarring or any sign of anything being done. I am not concerned with the scarring, but it's the large-looking forehead I am concerned with. Again, thank you for your help.
The hairline incison is the best approach for patients wanting no eleveation or a reduction in the verticl height of their forehead. When closed with meticulous detail the incision can be very inconspicuous.

What you are asking is whether or not your hairline will be elevated thus giving the forehead a larger surface area. This will vary according to the incision placement and the technique utilized.
