Is Sculptura Good for Sagging Skin Around the Mouth and Jaw Line?

I had a facelift 7 years ago, but the lower part of my face has fallen and crumpled. Would I be better off with a mid-lift?

A: sculptra ideal for filling lateral face and temples

Your photo shows loss of volume in the temples, lateral cheeks and probably at the lateral jawline. Boosting the volume of these areas can resore a natural appearance to your face and the volume will create lift of the skin. Surgical facelifting will tighten the skin but will stretch it over already thin areas making your face look more bony or angular rather than full, youthful and fresh. I would definitely consider sculptra with a physician experienced in injecting the above areas.

Sculptra for a Young Person with Facial Fat Loss?

I am a young person who suffers from facial fat loss due to trauma. Is it okay to get injected with Sculptra now or should I wait until I'm older? In the long run, would my cheeks look more hollow than they initially did after the Sculptra wears off? I intend to keep this up every 2 years for the rest of my life and that would be a deal breaker.

A: sculptra excellent choice for facial volume loss

For large area of volume loss, Sculptra is an excellent choice. The results are gradual and very natural. Sculptra stimulates your own fibroblasts to generate new collagen which is ideal for creating volume in the face. I often use scultpra in areas of trauma or scarring to plump the tissue underneath.

Should Patients Be Informed if a Doctor is Inexperienced in a Certain Procedure?

For example - If you injected Sculptra for the first time into a patient's face, would you inform them they were the very first, in writing?

A: honesty builds trust

Absolutely a patient should  be informed if their physician is inexperienced with any procedure including sculptra. I don't think this needs to be in writing but in form of a discussion. Ideally you are being treated by a physician that you know well and trust and who is an advocate for your health and beauty.
