I had fat transfer under my eyes/top of cheeks 2 years ago with terrible results. The area is uneven& lumpy, with hard little beads underneath. There are zillions of plastic surgeons in Atlanta. I thought the one I went to was skilled, but he ruined my face. I met w/ a top ps here. He thought the area looked "freaky" but would only recommend filler on the outer side to even things up. How do I find a ps w/ fat trans experience? What are the best options that won't make it worse?
I would recommend one or more injections of very low concentration of cortisosteroid. These injections can have the side effect of fat atrophy or dissolving. I would start at low concentration and do injections as needed to achieve the desired effect.
I had my first fat transfer to the breasts 2 weeks ago. Is it normal for the breasts to feel tight and lumpy at this point. Do the breasts eventually feel softer and move more natural? I am also wearing the brava bra postoperatively for increased circulation to the new fat.
what you are experiencing to this point sounds normal -just keep your foillow-up appts to make sure you are on the right track
is fat transfer good for under eye hollows and small lines ? If anyone has done this procedure let me know how are the results. Thanks
Fat transfer can have more side effects and downtime than other fillers especially in the thin skin area under the eyes. I would recommend considering one of the hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane (which is one of my favorites under the eyes) or possibly a series of sculptra (poly-L lactic acid) injections. You will have natural looking results that are long lasting and associated with fewer side effects.
