Swimming After Breast Reduction?

Hi, I'm on a very competitive college swim team, and have very large breasts (DD). I'm 5'6 and very tiny and muscular elsewhere. I was wondering if I were to get a breast reduction, how soon I could resume swimming (at an intense level) Thank you

A: swimmming

I would wait for at least 2 months before starting up with swimming -like lap swimming-that way you know you are fully healed

Is It Possible to Go from a D Cup to a C Cup in Breast Size? (photo)

I loved my perfect C cups before I got pregnant. They didn't sag or lay against my stomach. After my pregnancy, i am not happy with the appearance of my breasts. They had increased to a DD during my pregnancy and are now D cups.I would like to be able to wear strapless shirts & not worry about a bra. My question is, to obtain the perky well rounded look i had before, what procedures would be necessary 1st two photos are of myself and the last one is similar to the outcome i would like

A: Breast Lift

Thank you for your question.  Although it is difficult to give you an official recommendation without a direct examination, a breast lift procedure is an option for you.  This procedure lifts your breast tissue,  removes any extra skin that has has occurred with change in breast size (such as in pregnancy), and rearranges the tissue to give the breast a fuller, perkier look.  Patient satisfaction is often high with this procedure.

Will I Definitely Lose Feeling in my Nipples After a Reduction?

I am scheduled for a consultation in a few weeks for a breast reduction. I have been doing my research and the only concern I have is loss of sensation. Is this something that is inevitable? Do I really have to give this up in order to have smaller breasts? I will go ahead because I know the pro's out weigh the cons but it all actuality it makes me sad to think about.

A: Loss of sensation

To-Date I have not seen a patient who experienced complete loss of nipple sensation.  In some instances, one or both nipples may had added sensation or may experience temporary loss but typicall during the first 3-6 mos post-op most patients will have resumed normal nipple sensation
