Procedures to Tighten Loose Skin from Massive Weight Loss?

I'm a male 23 years old. I was 300 lbs. and now I'm 185 lbs. The problem is I have excess skin just above the penis area and around my stomach. Is there any exercise I can do to get rid of it? I work out a lot. What procedures are available to get rid of this? It’s really upsetting me. Please can you help and tell me how I can tighten this area? Thank you!

A: Congratulations on your weight loss, which is a tremendous achievement. Unfortunately,

like many patients who come to see me after weight loss, there are still some things that need to be done.  Specifically, it addition to excess lower abdominal skin that is addressed by a traditional Abdominoplasty, many patients have excess tissue in the pubic area following massive weight loss.  For patients such as yourself, it is not enough to get rid of the excess abdominal skin, and thighten the abdominal muscles, we also have to "lift" the extra skin in the pubic area.  Fortunately, this can be accomplished at the time of the Abdominoplasty, and the excess skin in the area you mentioned can be smoothed out nicely...

Best Procedure for Lower Body Fat

I have had two girls and I'm only 21. I really need to get ride of the stretch and the belly flap. I wanna have my inner thigh fat gone and hip fat and my butt fat as well. I've been looking Into a lower body lift but don't know if I'd be a candidate for it. I wanna also know if their is a reasonable priced doctor in Chicago who could help me get my before body back.

A: Looks like a tummy tuck will do

I am sure y ou could  use to lose a few pounds; however, a tummy tuck and some lipo of your love handles and perhaps inner thighs could be done. It will flatten your belly and get rid of the extra skin and stretch marks between your belly button and pubis.

Excess Lower Back Skin from Weight Loss. How to Correct It?

I have lose a lot of weight, I have excess skin in my lower back(along with my stomach) but for the back part bothers me the most. Is there any hope to correcting this?

A: There are a number of different approaches that have been very effective in

tightening the loose lower back skin following weight loss.  Given the explosion in the number of people opting for Bariatric Surgery to help reduce their weight, we have seen more and more patients who are happy with their weight loss but concerned about the excess sagging skin in many areas, including the lower back.  SInce you also mentioned loose skin the the abdominal area (and an overhanging pannus is very common), I would suggest a "belt" lift that would address both areas effectively in one procedure.  This operation includes an abdominoplasty, but rather that tapering the incision iin the hip area, the upper and lower incisions are continued around the back circumferentially to remove the extra skin in the back.  Just as the Abdominoplasty incision is hidden low in the "bikini line", the back incision is hidden just above the level of the crease.  After healing, patients are happy to have the last visible vestiges of their weight loss removed.
