Different Doctors Have Suggested Benelli or Full Anchor Lift, Which Would be Best? (photo)

I have consulted with two board certified plastic surgeons in regards to having full abdominoplasty and breast lift. One surgeon said all I would need is a Benelli lift, the other said I need a full "anchor" lift. Why is there such a discrepancy? And why not a lollipop? After having 6 kids, and breastfeeding all of them, I just want my breasts to be back where they once were, and to stay in my bra when I lean over!! All of this just seems to get more confusing... Please help!

A: Replace what you lost

After six children and nursing them, you have lost breast volume. In my experience of doing breast surgery for over 30 years, if you wouldn't mind being a little larger, an augmenation ( over the muscle) might be all you need for your breasts. Your nipple seems to be at the inframammary line and does not need to be lifted a lot. Of course an in person consultation would be needed to know exactly what you need.

Will I Be Able to Do a Breast Lift and Augmentation at the Same Time? (photo)

I had my breast augmentation done back in Feb 2011 and at first was very satisfied with the results, but now they are starting to sag and I need a breast lift. Will I have to have the implants removed, have a breast lift performed, and come back at a later date for implants? Or will someone be able to do it all at once? I posted some pictures from right after surgery and then from today.

A: Breast lift with implants.

It is possible to have implants at the same time of breast lift, however sometimes in cases of sever volume loss and droopiness, since the nipple/areola complex needs to be repositioned, due to safety concerns some plastic surgeons may want to achieve the best and safest outcome by performing the procedure in two steps. Before undergoing any plastic surgery, always consult with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons that performs many of these types of procedures and can provide before and after photos of their work.  Plastic Surgeons Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery have gone through rigorous training to advise what is the best and SAFEST procedure for you. Experience does make a difference!

How Long Will my Lift with No Implants Last?

I have a D cup and I'm wondering how long will the lift (with no implants) last with no sagging? I understand they might sag again after pregnancy.

A: How long will a breast lift last?

The purpose of any plastic surgery procedure reversing the effect of gravity and time is to set the clock back and provide you with a more rejuvenated look. Just as answering the question of how long any breast will take to sag it is hard to say how long a lift is good for. It depends on the volume of the breast, skin elasticity, application of bra, etc. I hope this answers your question.
