Long-Term Effects of Thread Lift

What happens to you face say ten, fifteen or 20 years after threads. Do the lines followed by the threads hold the skin tighter than the rest of the face forming strips of more taught and alternatively saggy skin where there are no threads?

A: Long Term Effects of Thread Lift...

Not usually, the threads will relax along with the facial tissues as time passes. Thismay require re-insertion of subsequent threads.

Can Thread Lift Tighten the Skin Under the Eyes? (photo)

Looking into alternative to surgery as I had quadrilateral blephroplasty in 2007 which made things worse. I had too many complications and had to hide away for 2 years after (swelling, bruising, dry eyes, eye lids not closing while sleeping, weepy eyes, eye bags looked bigger after the surgery etc). My eyes are finally back to normal, but the small bags under my eyes still persist. Have tried fillers already, I dont like the tell tale 'tide' filler leave behind. Help please, anything?

A: Thread Lift to tighten Skin under the Eyes...

Thread Lift for the lateral brow/temple area may help improve the skin under the eyes as well.

3 Weeks Post Cheek Suture Facelift: Where Needle/Thread Was Inserted is a Prominent Indention

Indentation has not gone down. Indention is close to nose/mouth area and makes it look as if my cheeks are permenantly smiling and it looks as if they are pinned up. I am quite worried about my appearance as I have to return to work. Will this indention fill out? Or does it sound like a complication from the surgery that needs to be repaired?

A: Prominent Indentation...

Gentle message should be started in the area of the indentation; the "permanent smile" appearance should begin softening up within the next few weeks.
