It's like I can see every swipe my Doctor made with the laser. No one said anything about this being a possiblity at my pre surgery concealtation. I know it's only been 2 1/2 days , but it looks so bad I tought I should try and see if anyone can tell me if this is normal and will go away in the 7 to 10 days that my Doctor said all will be Fantastic.I did this so I wouldn't have to wear foundation anymore..... now I'm worried that my face will be like this forever. Can you please tell me what to do?
Sorry to hear you are having this experience. it is hard to understand what had happened, perhaps a photo would help. I would go back to the treating physician and have him evaluate the situation. The earlier he sees it the better, that way he can offer treatment. Fraxel Repair is a great laser treament and gives great results. Dr. Halem
If after the skin peels & you still see the scars does this mean it did not work? Or will new skin growth help diminish the look of the scars(I just peeled)? I will be discussing this with PC of course. But,curiosity got the better of me,and my next appt.is next week, so I wanted to get some opinions till then on how fraxel works with acne scaring. I understand it depends on the type of scarring & may only get an improvement.Should I expect more improv. of the scars over time with fraxel repair?
Of course it depends on the type of acne scars being treated. 'However, in my hand the use of both Fraxel repair and restore as well as silicone injections works the best. I like to do an average of 3-5 Fraxels which build up the collagen in the dermis and combine this with silicone injecitons. The results are fantastic.
I recently had Fraxel repair. Can Fraxel repair make my neck skin loose? My pictures look like I have roles in my neck. I am almost a week out. I did not have roles before this. I wonder if it is swelling, however yesterday my swelling went down. I understood Fraxel repair to tighten to some degree, but my neck has roles in it now.
Fraxel repair does not loosen skin no matter where on the face and neck it is performed. In fact, the fraxel repair will do just the opposite and tighten skin. You are only a week out since the procedure and you definitely have swelling. This swelling can contribute to roles you are seeing. Hang in there and wait it out. I am sure you will see a great result. By the way, the swelling can last for a few weeks. Hope this helps!
