Q: Concerns about tummy tuck for stretch marks

SMART LIPO is an excellent tool for removing post pregnancy "baby fat" and tightening the skin. However, the following things need to be in place: You need to be at least 6 months post delivery due to the fact that your body changes during this time. The skin continues to shrink on it's own after having a baby during those first six months. At that point you can consider having smart lipo. It is more effective than tradional liposuction because the laser tightens the skin. If the amount of skin laxity after six months continues to be a lot, you might have to consider a tummy tuck. Smart lipo will not remove stretch marks. These can only be removed by a tummy tuck
