I think the rating reflects the doctor's proficiency in these areas. I chose Dr. Chynn after walking by his office and seeing him preform a procedure live on a TV monitor he had set up in his glass-walled surgery room.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Park Avenue Lasek. It is the only office to offer exclusive LASEK vision correction as well as unique HD vision via their SafeSight non-cutting technique. From my first initial consultation down to my graduation all went smooth and i have absolutely no complaints ! Dr Chynn addressed all my concerns and assured me that all would be fine. The patient care and concern they have here in superior to all the rest. Because I was only able to have the surgery in one eye, I chose the gold package for my left eye. Other centers wouldn't even consider helping me because my right eye has this weird ocular condition called keratoconus, but Dr. Chynn took all of the necessary precautions and deemed that my left eye was safe to do!!! I am SO grateful that Dr. Chynn didn't blow me off like all of the other laser vision centers I went to, he was my only hope to be glasses free@!! The surgery was quick, painless and was completely invasive, did not involve any cutting at all! If I had undergone LASIK surgery instead, I would constantly be worrying about the open flap on my eye. But here, no worries! Healing time was the only downside since i had to keep my eyes closed, but was well worth the boredom because my eyes healed properly and fast ! I would recommend this surgery to anyone that wears glasses and is ready to be free of that ! The value of being able to see the world in a clearer way cannot be matched anywhere else. This is a great office for LASEk with great staffs. Especially Dr. Chynn, he is very smart with great humor, he went to 5 Ivy League schools including Harvard and Columbia. I was recommended to Dr. Chynn by my cousin, she had her LASEK done by Dr. Chynn and she is very satisfied with her surgery. I went in for a free consultation with Dr. Chynn on March, the staffs are very knowledgeable. They tell you everything you need to know about the surgery and keep repeating it making sure you understand it to get the best result from your surgery. Dr. Chynn’s office is the only office that offers non-invasive and non-cutting procedures. No flap is cut into your eye, so you don’t have to worry about a flap complication comparing to LASIK. Price is a big issue for me, but the Dr. Chynn great staff worked with me to get it down somewhere close enough that I am willing to pay. They have a lot of great offers, you might actually get $2000 off.

Most knowledgeable and caring surgeon I have been too. Dr.Chynn took out his personal time to speak to me and explain the Lasek process. His fellows were very attentive and were reachable by cell phone after work hours, and that gave me a lot of peace-of mind.I was very confident in the procedure that I had my best friend do Lasek with him. This was the best decision I have made by far.

Great for Lasik I've heard, but wouldn't go to him for Botox. Also, he charged me $100 to ask him questions after my procedure.

An internet search. The staff at Park Avenue Lasek were all really friendly, relaxed and professional. I had absolutely no pressure at all into getting any specific procedure done and they made sure I was a proper candidate and that I understood the process very well before I decided to go through with it all. They were extremely helpful with every step of the process, answered any questions I had and although they were a bit strict with us taking the precautions necessary afterwards, it has been well worth the result. They were also extremely flexible when it came to medical insurance and helped to make sure I got the best coverage possible for my medications. Can't be more happy about that. It's been a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend Dr Chynn and his staff.

Dr. Chynn and his staff know what they're talking about. Period. Every question I've asked has been met with nothing but professionalism and a genuine desire for me to have all the info I need. All the staff members are friendly and I personally love Dr. Chynn. People may not get his sense of humor and be offended, etc. but I actually love it and think he's super funny, which helped alleviate any anxiety I may have had about the procedure. He is very efficient and as a result, doesn't beat around the bush, which I definitely appreciate. p.s. What sealed the deal for me was the fact that Dr. Chynn PERFECTED this process. I mean, why go anywhere else when you can go directly to the person who perfected it? He does the surgery in a room that has glass walls, so that anyone walking outside can see it as well. Talk about super confident! That's what I would want from any doctor doing a serious procedure on me.
