Procedures I'm known for
Fillers and Other Injectables
Understanding what causes your skin to sag and lines to form plays a crucial part in devising an effective treatment plan. For example, as we lose facial volume and skin elasticity, our facial tissues reposition themselves and form deep wrinkles and folds. While there are many solutions to address this issue, the best way to smooth lines, such as smile lines or nasolabial folds, is through injectable dermal fillers. Made of synthetic, biocompatible materials, dermal fillers are injected directly into the folds of the face and restore lost volume, offering long-lasting, natural-looking results. At my New York City practice, I prefer using Radiesse to add volume to the smile area because it lasts longer than other dermal fillers and doesn’t deflate after the first injection. I also offer Juvéderm Ultra XC and Restylane. Many of my patients also opt for Botox, to smooth wrinkles and help prevent new lines from forming, or a combination of fillers and Botox, for a “liquid facelift.”
Face and Neck Lifts
At my New York City practice, I frequently perform facelift procedures to smooth facial wrinkles, tighten loose skin, and lift the sagging that results from aging and facial volume loss. Depending on your needs and degree of sagging or jowling, I might suggest a lower facelift, mini facelift, or a midface/cheek lift. I can also combine a lower facelift with a neck lift, which can fight the effects of aging along the neck and jawline. My patients often find that the neck is one of the first parts of the body to show their age. I often recommend this procedure to remove excess neck fat, smooth neck bands, and reduce the dreaded “turkey wattle.” Based on the patient’s age, skin laxity, and body goals, I may suggest a neck lift, neck lift combined with a lower facelift, mini neck lift, or neck liposuction.
