Dr. Rokhsar has an impeccable background and has proven himself to be an excellent practioner and he has absolutely earned my trust. He answers ALL questions patiently and intelligently, does not overbook appointments (I've waited far too long at other dermatologists' offices), and, bottom line, he knows what he is doing! As for payment, since most of what I've had done is cosmetic, I've paid out of pocket and this is something that I expected. I've nothing but praise for Rokhsar and his staff. Dr. Rokhsar has been my dermatologist for the past few years and he is excellent. I completely trust and respect his ability. I'm quite cautious about choosing doctors - and medical procedures in general - but I plan to have other procedures with him (Fraxel, Ultherapy) in the coming weeks/months. FWIW, I'm an academic and thoroughly researched his training - you won't find a dermatologist with a better pedigree. His assistant, Shawnee (sp?), is also a delight.

I've seen Dr. Rokhsar on numerous shows including Rachael Ray, providing commentary on things regarding dermatology. He is well-respected in the derm field, and came highly recommended through a friend. Dr. Rokhsar was wonderful and thorough in answering all my questions and alleviating any concerns. He had fantastic follow up after the procedure, and was eager to hear whether or not I had positive results. I've recently seen him for aesthetics injections and he is equally talented.

Dr R is amazing! I am a very picky patient. I have been to some of the best and most renown dermatologists in the city and none have made such an impact on me as Dr R. He is a distinguished Dr who exhibits all the signs of a great Dr. He takes time to listen to his patience with a calming and trustworthy demeanor and then take diligence in explaining what are the most suitable solutions. I have always had redness on my face and he is the only dr that hasn't just dismissed my problem with a prescription cream. He didn't' push me into anything, instead he took time to teach me about the different options i had and what may work best. I can't say enough how grateful i am to him for getting rid of my skin problems. i wish more Drs would follow his lead. They would have much more successful practices if so. Thank you Dr Rokhsar, i no longer look like i'm blushing 24hrs a day.

I have seen Dr. Rokhsar for a variety of concerns, both cosmetic and general dermatology. He is incredibly knowledgable. You simply will not find a cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist who is more up-to-date both with what he knows and the technology he offers. The best part is that Dr. Rokhsar is not a salesman, like many cosmetic practices. He provides ONLY realistic expectations, meaning you'll be satisfied with the outcome of your chosen treatment.

Dr Rokshar is a highly trained and knowledgeable dermatologist, who specializes in anti-aging treatments. I was interested to work with him for fraxel, improving overall skin tone and sunspots for sun exposure. We did two treatments together, I was very pleased with the results. Dr Rokshar clearly explained the process so I was prepared during the fraxel session(s), he also explained the post process so I was prepared for any discomfort, healing and subsequent results. He is very thorough and conscious about generating the best results that are matched with the patients needs. I would recommend Dr Rokshar for skin cosmetic procedures. Additionally he has helped me with some laser hair removal issues and overall dermatological needs.

I am a practicing physician in New York City and have personally used the services of Dr. Rokhsar. He is a true professional. Highly competent with great bedside manner, Dr. Rokhsar puts you at ease. He explained the procedure in depth and very clearly. I have recommended some of my patients to Dr. Rokhsar and they have had similar experiences to mine. I refer patients with both common dermatologic problems as well as those who would like a cosmetic consultation. Dr. Rokhsar is a dermatologist to "stars" as well as to other physicians.

Dr. Rokhsar is kind, honest and incredibly intelligent. I have been to other dermatologists who are so rushed they don't even have time to answer questions, but Dr. Rokhsar is very understanding and relaxed. The thing I like best about him is his bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients and genuinely wants to make them happy.

I came into Dr. R's NYC office after a friend highly recommended him for lasers and Botox. I half expected him to go down a list of procedures I needed or would benefit from. He was so honest and not looking to recommend anything I truly didn't need. I walked out with some Botox and I am so happy! I will definitely go back again.

I went Dr Rokhsar for a laser treatment and lipo. He is fine as a doctor as long as you don't have too many questions or concerns, which for any new procedure would be understandable. He is can be fairly condescending and inpatient with patient questions. He also is very defensive about bad outcomes of procedures and I had the unfortunate experience of having to pay additional money for a mistake he made during a procedure. As a patient it is very difficult to prove whether or not a mistake was made, he and his staff will try to convince you otherwise but the truth is, we look in the mirror everyday and know ourselves very well. It is beyond disheartening when you look worse or the same after paying thousands of dollars and suffering the discomfort of a procedure, but cannot convince them otherwise. Please do your research and only choose a doctor you have been referred to with the highest compassion and integrity. You deserve to have your questions answered with patience and respect. We only get treated the way we allow ourselves to be treated.

Initially, I saw Dr. Rokhsar on a TV show and was very impressed. I have been a patient of Dr. Rokhsar's for several years. He has provided me with both cosmetic and dermatology procedures. Dr. Rokhsar's bedside manner is amazing! He is patient, knowledgeable and provides me with reassuring comfort as he performs his procedures. In general, I am always quite apprehensive in any doctor's office, but I find I am more relaxed in Dr. Rohksar's office, knowing I am 'in good hands." His staff is composed of friendly, helpful, capable people.

A friend's recommendation. I have been seeing Dr. Rokhsar for Botox and fillers for two years. He is the only doctor I trust enough to do any procedures on my face. I live 14 hours away but fly to NY twice a year to see him. He takes the time to understand what a patient wants and produces amazing results. I get compliments on the work he has done all the time and now my entire family sees him. I've tried other doctors but he is by far the best.

Dr. Rokhsar was a very patient and explained everything thoroughly and carefully to me. I was nervous at first but he was very personable and knowledgeable. I had never gotten Botox before, and didn't know anything about the process or science of the injections. He gave me a very good understanding of what to expect and during and afterwards. He was very professional and strived to get me the best treatment and options possible. I will definitely be going back to him for more treatments. Overall very satisfied with my results and experience!

My dermatologist recommended him. I don't ever post reviews on the Internet, but I wanted to share the amazing experience I had with Dr. Rokhsar. He did MOHs surgery on my neck and everything from start to finish went perfectly. His staff were great and Dr. Rokhsar was an absolute sweetheart. I have never dealt with a more down to earth, yet highly intelligent doctor in my life. I was so impressed with his caring nature. He even called me that evening to see how I was doing. A + +

Dr. Rokhsar is the best dermatologist in NYC! He is experienced, knowledgeable, professional and patient. He has performed a variety of procedures for me (including fraxel laser and fillers) and all of the results have been amazing. He took the time to explain things to me and answer all the questions i had. His office staff was also polite and professional. I would highly recommend him.

I have gone to one other dermatologist for this procedure. The difference between that doctor and Dr. R was astounding. Dr. Rokhsar was great- he answered my questions, and told me exactly what to expect- he didn't sugar coat the fact that it would be painful. This is one of the reasons why I respect him and won't go to any other Dermatologist now. I have continued to see him for Botox and other procedures and I couldn't be happier with him as a Dr.
