I had sinus surgery I think over 15 years ago and that's when Dr. Pearlman was just starting. I think, in doing plastic surgery. It was something I was debating before but I didn't. Once I started having issues again, I actually spent a lot of time locating him. Once I found that I had to have sinus surgery again, I wanted to do both.
So, I'm very, very protective of myself and hate... more
I have a small perforated septum. I had to choose septoplasty from drop dwon list because I didn't see a treatment with this name. He is the only dr. that I saw (I went for 3 consults) that does a completely open procedure and takes tissue from ribs to repair a preforation. I'm terrified of any kind of surgery. Has anyone had a repair done by Dr. Losquadro for a perforated septum? If so, what... more
I got a septoplasty and rhinoplasty, and was very pleased to learn he could work on both the inside and the outside of my nose.
The day of the surgery (my first ever surgery), he was a very calming influence. Later that night he called me to follow up and provide a few more bits of advice. I barely needed pain medication, experienced very little swelling and virtually no bruising.... more
I had surgery for a deviated septum a little more than 10 years ago because I had partial breathing obstruction. I went and saw Dr. Miller who was very enthusiastic about "helping"/operating on me. In hindsight, it seemed to be an arrangement where they each recommended work by the other to get... more
Now two months since my surgery, I am most pleased with the results. Having broke my nose as a lad (I'm 54) it had finally become a quality of life issue in regards to breathing and sleeping. The large broken bridge also was a constant bother wearing glasses that made for constant readjustment.
Not only has this procedure helped with my sinus congestion it has also eliminated my snoring,... more
I had a deviated septum and was having a hard time breathing and needed to get this fixed. As well as the septoplasty, I had rhinoplasty as well. My nose was not straight and too masculine. I asked for a natural, smaller more feminine nose and this is exactly what I received. I couldn't be happier with my results! more
The only con from the surgury was the excessive pain imediatly afterwards. But the pros greatly outweigh the con.Originally the doctor told me that I might possibly still have a great deal of pain after I healed, but four weeks later I was able to wear my glasses. I am also now able to sneeze like a normal person. I am extremely pleased with they outcome.I had the surgury because I had a... more
