Velashape While Trying to Get Pregnant?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a yr and 1/2. I have put several things on hold hoping to get pregnant. It is now almost 2 yrs later and wish I would have done these. I am considering Velashape, but also am going to start taking another set of hormones to hopefully conceive. Is Velashape ok while doing this as long as I am not currently pregnant? Also, could these treatments effect my fertility?

A: velashape and pregnancy

Although there is no direct evidence that there would be any affect from Velashape on your fertility, you certainly should not have the treatment if you have been trying so hard for almost 2 years to have a child. The hormones might affect the condition of your fluid content and fat distribution so it would be best to have the Velashape when you are not pregnant and not on treatment to help coneption.

Can I Do Velashape While Breastfeeding?

Velashape massage has any side effect for the baby while breastfeeding? Shall I wait until I finish breastfeeding my baby to do velashape massage or there is no side effect whatsoever?

A: velashape and breast feeding

It would most certainly be wiser to defer the Velashape treatment until after you have finished breast feeding as the Velashape treatment is an elective cosmetic treatment for cellulite. This however, does not imply that there is any known deleterious effect on the breast milk from Velashape, but one would always rather defer treatment that is elective until after delivery and breast feeding.

Tummy and Love Handles Contouring

I am 40 yrs old, 5'1" and weigh 110 lbs. After having 2 kids I now have this belly and love handles that I wanna get rid off. I am skinny everywhere else but my tummy area. I went to a place and said that I need 6 velashapes and 4 Titan treatments to see results. Would this get rid of my problem area? What other non invasive treatment can you recommend? What do you think of the Zerona laser lipo, would that work on me? Thank you so much.

A: Zeltiq Coolsculpting instead of liposuction

If you insist on not having liposuction or surgery, in case a tummy tuck would be deemed appropriate, then chilling and killing the fat cells via Zeltiq CoolSculpting might provide you better results than Titan, Thermage or Zerona.  The adipocytes (fat cells) have been shown to die from freezing and that's what the Zeltiq does. Its results are NOT the same as liposuction; you won't get as much fat reduction, but Zeltiq can provide you without undergoing surgery a decrease in fat volume with a one or two hour procedure.  The company states that about 20% reduction of fat can be seen around the fourth month after the procedure.  The procedure can be done more than once.
