Would a Surgery Help my Puffy Nipples?

I'm a 26 year-old man who wants to get rid of the swelling under his nipples. they are glandular and minimal with no pain unless i press them. yet i hate them. They devellped during my puberty and never got away. at that time a doctor tried TAMOXIPHENs on me but it didn't work. help me please.

A: Surgery for puffy nipples...

It is not uncommon for a male to develop swelling in their areolas during puberty.  Some patients may also have enlarged breast tissue.   A simple procedure of liposuctioning the excess fat and removing the glandual tissue from the areolas can leave you with a much flatter appearance.  I would contact a board certified plastic surgeon to see if  you are a candidate for this procedure.

I Had a Breast Reduction and I No Longer Have Nipples - What Can Be Done?

I Had a Breast Reduction and I No Longer Have Nipples - What Can Be Done?

A: Breast reduction and lost nipples

Nipple and areola reconstruction can usually be performed as one does for mastectomy patients.  You just have to wait for everything to heal.

Is Areola Reduction Surgery a Good Idea in This Case?

I am 20 yrs, 100 lbs, no pregnancies, and have 30DD breasts with aerolas of ~6.5 cm. I am often annoyed with my breast size b/c it seems disproportionate to my frame, but am particularly unhappy about the large, stretched out appearance of my areolas. I have been considering breast reduction, but have recently discovered that the possibility to just reduce areola size, which would be much less expensive and might help aesthetically. Am I a good candidate for such a procedure?

A: Areolar reduction You would be a candidate for areolar reduction. This could be performed alone or as part of a breast lift. Your breasts also demonstrate asymmetry, in the size of the breasts as well as the areolae and in the nipple heights, which aggravates the appearance. All of these issues could be addressed in a mastopexy. Your decision for surgery may be influenced by your age and childbearing plans.
