I Need to Know How to Remove a Pyogenic Granuloma on Lower Lip?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I recently develop a granuloma on my lower lip maybe a week or two, it is very large in size and I'm feeling awfull about the situation I seen two doctors and they can't seem to help. Please if you can advise I really need the help...

A: Laser works for Pyogenic Granuloma Various vascular lasers can successfully treat Pyogenic granuloma's On the lip.I have treated , in my estimation, over 100 such cases with good results. If however the lesion is very large, a surgical option might be considered. Good luck.

Anti-Viral Medication Before Laser Surgery

How many days prior laser surgery is it a good idea to take an anti-viral? Do I need to take one if I am only getting laser on my upper chest area?

A: Anti-viral and lasers

This question really depends upon the laser and area treated. In general, if it is a facial ablative laser, I recommend anti-virals to start the day before the procedure.

Laser Neck Surgery Cost

cost of laser neck surgery for tightening sagging skin?

A: Certain lasers good for skin tightening

Lasers are used in cosmetic medicine for many different things, one of which is skin tightening. There are certain types of lasers which do this very well. This is not the same thing as traditional cosmetic (plastic) surgery that involves cutting the skin. Invasive surgery to improve severe sagging, aging and laxity in the neck can include liposuction and lifting.

Skin tightening would not work well on this type of severely aged and sagging neck. Skin tightening by laser works well on mild to moderately aged and saggy necks. While one will see a nice result with one treatment of laser skin tightening, the results are optimal after several treatments, with each treatment being spaced a few weeks apart. The cost per treatment of laser skin tightening in the neck really varies depending on the severity of the area being treated.

I recommend you consult a reputable physician (dermatologist, plastic surgeon, ENT, facial plastic surgeon) in your area to find out what treatment best suits your goals and how much they charge for the different treatments.
