I have severe eye hollows all the way around. Can I just get filler in cheek so that it may improve my orbital rim?? Will this work?
Fat injection works great for hollowing around the eyes. It is very simple to go through under local anesthesia and can be very long lasting. Surgery is often performed in combination with fat injection. A cheeklift can lift the cheek tissues which can also improve the appearance of hollowing and usually works great with fat injection. Be sure to see a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a complete evaluation..
I have a slight double chin and obvious jowls. The jowl on my left is visibly larger than on my right. Oddly, I'm quite thin and have been so all my life, but my cheeks have always been puffy and my nasolabial folds are deep (bad genes?). When I lay down on my back (second photo), the jowls totally disappear. Does that mean this isn't sagging muscles, but fat deposits? I don't want to admit that I need a face lift already at 32, so any/all options to get rid of puffy cheeks & jowls are welcome.
Hi.
Of course, one would have to examine you, but it looks like you might really benefit by liposuction of the lower face. This is a short scarless procedure with quick recovery, and the results can be dramatic.
I am male 39 and can see some early signs of skin sagging on my face. The skin over cheeks is lax and there is no definition in the cheek area. I consulted a cosmetic surgeon in London who advised me that grafting fat to cheek area will be a good alternative to cheek lift. Then I visited another one who mentioned that given the amount of laxity too much fat transfer maybe required and that I would be better off with a cheek lift. What is the view of surgeons here?
You maybe a candidate for a cheek lift or cheek fillers or possibly both, it is hard to say without an exam.
