i have Asymmetrical cheekbones, one is higher than the other.so i am wondering if there is any way to fix it .also i want cheeks implants ,but am scared if i get them done the asymmetry of my cheeks will be more obvious!? pleas i need an expert opinion.
There are a number of moderate and long lasting fillers that work so well that I do many fewer cheek implants than I did a few years ago. If this is your first time, I suggest a hyaluronic acid filler, Juverderm, Restylane, or Perlane. The advantage is that they last +/- 9 months in the cheeks. If you don't like it, it will go away. If you really are unhappy it can be dissolved with an enzyme. If that works then a longer lasting filler such as Radiesse or Artefill can be used.

High cheekbone is an often used term but intuitively I would understand this to mean the chee prominence is further up from the bottom of the face. Is this correct? Reason I ask is because I hope to get malar implants that will make my face more angular and sharp without widening my face much. Is this possible to implement on my bone structure? The most prominent area of my cheekbone seems to be on a horizontal line only 1cm up from the base of my nose. Is the implant placed directly on this?
Malar implants as you suggest will work well. However, if you are looking for a temporary trial to see how you like the look, I would suggest a filler such as Juvederm or Restylane injected over the cheek bones. This will give you the same look without the permanence or recovery required with surgery. Additionally, if you do not like the look, the filler is easily reversible with a special enzyme injection.

Cheek hollows will do very nicely with injectable fillers. You will have excellent results with minimal to no downtime and minimal discomfort. In our practice, we do a lot of cheek filling with injectable liquid silicone as it is a fantastic facial filler and is permanent (saving the patient money and time). When injected with the proper technique by a board-certified dermatologist or facial plastic surgeon with expertise in using silicone, LIS is an ideal filler for cheek hollows.
