20 Days Post Op. Is It Too Early to Start Massaging my Scars? And When Will Swelling Decrease to be the Final Result? (photo)

I have 3 questions! I'm 20 days post Op (Breast Reduction), I was wondering if it is too early to start massaging my scars with creams? My second question is how long would it take for the swelling to go down? And my third question is if there's any chance for my breast to further reduce in size? Sorry for too many questions! Many Thanks in advance

A: Recovery from Breast Augmentation

Yes, it may take several weeks for the swelling to go down and the tissues to settle.  I suggest to may patients to start gentle massage the day after surgery.  However, you should consult with your surgeon and follow their directions.

Good Luck.

It Has Been a Year and my One Breast is Still Draining and Bleeding What Should I Do?

I had a breast reduction 1 year ago a tiny spot on the right nipple area wont heal still drains and bleeds ,she operated a second time and it healed all but that same spot that still drains and bleeds

A: Draining and bleeding one year out

The only way to figure out why you are draining and bleeding at one year out is to perform an exam.  If there were any permanent sutures placed, perhaps this is the cause of your problem.  But without an exam it is hard to say.

What Your Opinion About Laser Bra Breast Reduction? (photo)

What is anyones opinion about Laser Bra Breast Reduction? I am 21 and i am 5'3 and about 160 to 175lbs an is has a somewhat tiny figure and have not yet had children. I have upper back pain an sagging with my breast. I am a 34O in bra size and have been sized with professional's more than once. In addition i am getting a little bit depressed because i have a hard time fitting into clothing & bras. I want to know what would be the best kind of surgery would be an what size would be best. Help

A: Laser bra breast reduction

Laser bra breast reduction sound like a marketing tool to get patients in the office.  Be careful of these types of gimmicks.
