Fine Hairs are needed at the sides of my forehead to make it appear that my forehead is less wide than it actually is. I prefer not to use the back of my scalp as the donor site. Are there any other candidates for this? Like maybe leg hair or even armpit hair?
Hello Dr. 6 months ago I had an eyebrow transplant, the Dr said that he will Putted me 225 grafts in both eyebrows, but now I have 6 months after the procedure and I have only 67 and 56 new hairs in my eyebrows. I do not know what to do.
The eyebrows should respond to the transplant. There are many reasons why the transplant may not take. Do not rush into another procedure as the growth may take 3 to 6 months. At this time, more grafts may be required.
I have heard a lot about Laser Combs for stimulating hair growth. The Revage 670 laser is apparently a device using the same wavelenght, but a lot more power. Has anybody had any experience with it? Is it worth it?
As of now, there are no clear convincing results. There are some preliminary studies that low level laser treatments may be helpful. It is fairly new in the market and I have not heard any of our patients using it. Rogaine, Propecia and hair transplant are well accepted techniques to increase the hair density.
