Invisalign Price to Include Attachments, Initial X-rays, Impression and Retainer?

A: What does Invisalign Include?

Usually Invisalign includes the attachments and impressions.  In our office we often include the x-rays as well since our mutual goal is healthy, straight teeth.  The retainer varies by Dentist. Their is not "set" rule and is worth asking about in the initial consultation.  Again, at our office, we usually include the retainer in the initial fee.  Good Luck, you are going to love the results you get with Invisalign!

I Hate my Gummy Smile, Should I Have Gum Reduction Surgery Before Getting Crowns/Veneers? (photo)

Would you suggest gum reducing surgery, and then crowns/veeners? I have some bonding now, that is chipped and dis-coloring. Is a gum lift/grafting a smart choice before veeners/crowns?

A: Gum Surgery is done Before Crowns/Veneers

Ideally you always want to do gum surgery (elective or not) before you do your crowns and veneers.  In the front of your mouth this may mean waiting 4-8 weeks for final healing prior to starting the dental work.  I find a laser to be much gentler to the gums and results in speedier healing.  Sometimes this is not possible.  It is very important that you are using an experienced Dentist & possibly Periodontist team.  You will need x-rays and a thorough checking of your bone height and gum health prior to starting.  The Cosmetics with a "gum lift' in the right hands can be quite stunning.  Good Luck.

My Enamel Has Started to Severly Deteriorate, How Much Would 9 Veneers Cost?

How much it cost to fix my 9 front top teeth? Not sure what I need but most likely veneers.

A: Cost of Veneers

As the other Dentists have mention, fees for veneers vary by region and experience.  The range quoted by others seems about right.  One question; why only 9 veneers?  That is an odd number and in general we do even number of veneers when planning a case.  This is usually necessary for cosmetics and symmetry.  Is another tooth going to have a crown?  If so this needs to be addressed at time of treatment planning as well since the cost of that one crown can also be significant, similar to that of a veneer.  Good Luck, and remember to get a second opinion and like most things in life, you get what you pay for.
