What Are Non Surgical Alternatives To A Brow Lift?

I got some great answers, thanks to all of the doctors that responded!I did some research and do not think I am ready to go through with a brow lift. I do feel I am a little young and should try other options first. The problem is that I had tried botox about a year ago and didn't get very noticeable results. Could this be that the doctor just didn't do a great job? I would be willing to try botox again, if I know that I have a good chance of lifting the lateral brow portions.

A: Non Surgical Alternatives To A Brow Lift

Scotch tape works well. Also some people use paperclips attached to rubber bands pulled back. Other than botox there are no non surgical things that work.

Brow Lift for 24 year old female: Too Early?

I am a 24 year old female. I have very droopy eyebrows. Is it too early to get a browlift??

A: Brow lift at 24 I would doubt that you have a condition warranting a brow lift. You try Botox or having an aesthetician alter the shape of the brows but unless there is an anatomical reason for a true brow ptosis, surgery is probably not appropriate. Not every situation warrants an operation. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon to whom you can demonstrate the condition which upsets you.

Lateral Brow Lift for 22 Year Old Woman?

I am 22 years old, and I have noticed for the past few years that the end part of my brows droop down. This gives a somewhat sad expression. I really want to correct this, and have tried botox before. I didn't get great results, and I am not sure why that is. I noticed when I tie my hair up in a ponytail, my brows look lifted and much better. It also compliments my eyes more. Is a lateral brow lift the only option here? I would like to try the least invasive thing that I can.

A: Brow lift in a 22 year old I am going to take a contrarian point of view. You have not posted photos but you are 22 and frankly I cannot imagine indications for a brow lift if you do not have true ptosis. Some women have straight rather than curbed brows. My first reaction is that perhaps you should see an esthetician who can reshape your brows. I have serious misgivings that someone of your age really needs a brow lift.
