Is It Ok to Be Operated for BBL by a GS Board Certified Rather Than PS Board Certified?

I found some great Plastic Surgeon who have great before and after pictures, but some of them are only GS Board certified and not PS board certified. Should this be of a concern?? Some doctors who are PS Board Certified I didn't like their work. So there a significant difference before GS and PS?

A: Keep looking If you are board certified in general surgery, it means you trained to do general surgery. That is hernias, abdominal and breast surgery, not cosmetic surgery. Most plastic surgeons spent at least another two to three years doing plastic, cosmetic surgery. Although board certification in plastic surgery does not guarantee a perfect result, it at least means that your doctor trained in and is board certified in what you want.

Am I a Candidate for BBL?

When the fat is removed, will there be excess skin hanging on my abdomen? I'm petite and weigh 111 lbs. I have fat on the love handles and front abdomen and upper back. Can I expect moderate improvement? My butt is flat. There is no fat on my thighs.

A: Come in and be seen

It is impossible to know without seeing you. True BBLs involve the removal of a goodly amout of fat and reinjection into the buttocks, if you don't have enough fat, perhaps some other liposcultpuring can be done.

Am I a Good Candidate for Brazilian Butt Lift?

I'm 5'5 142lbs have three kids and no matter what I do I can not lose that 5 month pregnant pouch. I've been considering a brazilian butt lift for a very long time for two reasons 1. smaller waist and 2. nice round butt. My concerns are; do I have too much fat on my abdomen and flanks to have liposuction and end with a nice small waist? is it possible to add volume not only to my butt but my hips as well? if so is that extra charge? Are there any p/s that specialize in BBL in NYC?

A: Lipo for tummy , yes == BBL maybe

You are a great candidate for liposuction and body contouring. You need to have a full discussion with a qualified plastic surgeon regarding the risks and benefits of the butt augmentation. It may look great for a while, but the injected fat often goes away.
