Like many others, I have been here lurking around since November when I started this process. I want to thank all you gals for sharing your journeys.
Back in 2001 I had a hysterectomy, after that is when my boobs just kept getting larger. I was always a C to a D cup before that.
Fast forward to November I went to see my PS ( who by the way did my daughters reduction 12 yrs ago.) 2... more
Hi. Im 23 years old and am 5'5" amd 115lbs. I have the smallest body frame but unfortunately Im a 32DD if not bigger, Im really scared to find out if they are. To make matters worse, it looks really awkward because I have such a short torso. Basically I look like all boobs and legs now. Formerly a ballet dancer I've put on a bit of weight since I have chosen a new career, but even when I was... more
Back in July I started my process ... making an appointment with the doctor. I"ve been thinking about having a breast reduction for years and never did anything about it. I arrived not knowing where it would lead me. I liked her right away. She talked, measured and took photos. My insurance approved it and I'm due to have surgery on December 4, 2012. I'm nervous, excited, scared and have... more
Your experiences have been immensely helpful and reassuring, so here goes my story.
I'm 31 years old and I've had large breasts ever since I hit puberty. They're around a 38I these days, after having breastfed two kids. I'm 5'5" and 198 pounds, and while I'd love to lose some weight before having a reduction, I can't exercise without paying for it the next day in neck/back pain. I have... more
Hi everyone, I'm a 22 year old from southwestern Ontario. I've been "blessed" with large breasts since late grade school, oogled by boys ever since! I'm a size 34G, 165 lbs and 5'5" (I'd probably put on about 15lbs thanks to good ol' univeristy).
I've recently started my journey towards getting an OHIP approved breast reduction..as I'm sure you could guess I don't exactly have any money..... more
If you're reading this then you already know pretty much everything I am going to say. My breast's have put a damper on my life since the 8th grade. Sexual harassment, accusations of "stuffing my bra" and pain in my back, shoulders and neck have been my close friend since I was 12. Last Wednesday I received the letter in the mail from my insurance company ( Independent... more
So this is day 4 post-op and I am still very sore, took pain meds yesterday and don't like how tired they make me feel. All of the bandages are off and my staples will be removed on Monday. The only thing that I am hating right now is the drainage of fluid from stapled area.
Day 9 post-op. Returning to work in 10 days, not a bad recovery time at all. Sutures were removed... more
Well worth it. I am 5' tall and weigh 130. I had 36DDD spilling. I'm now a 36C and my surgery was 13 days ago. I just switched from a compression bra to a sports bra.
No pain medications any longer, sleeping comfortable, doing light cardio at gym and back to work next Monday. Surgery went well and I couldn't be happier with the results. Nicely shaped, proportionate to my body... more
