Drain Hole Not Closing, Very Painful. What To Do? (photo)

I am 3.5 weeks post op. My left drain hole has not closed up. Last week it started very painful and leaking fluid, went to the PS on Tuesday and he said i had stitched popping through, He cut one out leaving another hole. I now have two painful holes next to each other. I have been putting neosporin and bandaids on it like directed. It isnot healing and very sore. Now the skin around it is getting raw as well. I am attaching pics of the bandaid I removed and the holes.

A: Tummy tuck drain holes

Drain holes typically close in a few days.  From what I can see from your pictures these areas should heal shortly with the treatment you are doing.  It would be a good idea to get rechecked by your doctor to make sure you are not developing an infection.

Can I Have a Tummy Tuck After an Abortion?

My husband had a vesactomy 3 months ago. I found out I was pregnant had a medical abortion. Will my surgens to got ahead with my tummy tuck?

A: tummy tuck

You can still have a tummy tuck.  You should not get it immediately afterwards.  It would be best to wait a minimum of six weeks to allow your body to recover.  Discuss this with your surgeon.

Almost 6 Months Post-op. How Likely is It to Damage the MR in a TT?

First off, I want to thank all of you for your time. Anyway, I am 1 week out from being 6 months post-op TT/MR. I saw my Dr. last week and he said that it is safe to push it during exercise now. I have been exercising since 4 weeks post-op. I do crossfit and 2 days ago we did an abs intense workout and now I am EXTREMELY sore. How likely is it that I ruined the MR and how would I know? I called my DR. and he said to take ibuprofen and call back Monday if the pain was still extreme. Thanks again.

A: exercise 6 months after abdominoplasty should be fine

it is highly unlikely you caused any real damage this far out, but rest for a week or so, take ibuprofen, and when you feel better GRADUALLY resume exercise. sounds like you overdid it and caused this. if problem persists, you should go back and see your surgeon.
