What is the Miracle Facelift?

I heard about the Miracle Facelift on TV and was wondering how it is non surgical? What types of fillers are used to achieve the refreshed and youthful look? Thank you for your input.

A: if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is

this "miracle" facelift sounds like marketing hype....there are many ways to accomplish facial rejuvenation. they include surgery, peels, lasers of many types,  fillers of different types, and neurotoxins. suggest you see a board certified plastic surgeon familiar with all these modalities and come up with a reasonable approach to your individual situation. providers who can't "do it all" will tend to steer you toward whatever they can do (if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail).

Am I a Candidate for a Facelift at 32? (photo)

Hi, I'm 32 year old male, constantly dealing with disbelieving looks when I'm asked my age. I think I need a facelift. I know I'm really young for this, but if I look this bad now and a facelift can help, then why wait? I'd like to enjoy some more my (relative) youth... I've attached a picture, the areas I think I need are a facelift for my jowls, fillers or a submalar implant for my hollow cheeks, and simple fillers for my nasolabial folds. Am I a candidate for a facelift? Thanks

A: many possible components to consider in facial rejuvenation (facelift)

there are many different surgical and non-surgical treatments that might be considered in your situation. it is difficult and probably not appropriate to make firm suggestions based on pictures. you should find an experienced and conservative  board certified plastic surgeon who is comfortable with all the surgical and non-surgical modalities that could be used...then together formulate a reasonable short term and long term plan for your  facial rejuvenation.

Swelling 2 Weeks and 2 Days After Facelift, When Can I Expect this to go Down?

It has been 2 weeks and 2 days after my facelift. Only my neck has a little bruising. The swelling in face has gone down a lot but there still some. My neck is more swollen and a bit lumpy. When can I expect my neck to be more normal? I hate turtleneck sweaters and I have to go back to work in a few days and I don't want to tell anyone. I want the "refreshed" and not the "surgical" look. Thanks.

A: takes time for tissue to settle down after facelift

certainly not unusual to have some residual swelling or irregularities of contour so soon after facelift surgery. can take weeks for some things to settle down. that said, your surgeon should still be following you closely and you should be asking questions about any concerns that come up. better to ask about something that is normal, than not making surgeon aware of something that turns out to be significant!
