Fabulous Results from an Amazing Doc - Albuquerque, NM

Show More Dr. Taghizadeh's contributions and inventions to the profession are already documented elsewhere. I cannot say enough about his gifts: honest responses, thorough, thoughtful manner. You can tell this Doc is totally engaged by what he does... and it shows... on my face. Lucky me.

A Work in Progress - Albuquerque, NM

Show More I began searching for face-lift, laser, other procedures to improve my appearance quite a while ago.. After a thorough investigation, I felt that the Lifestyle Lift would be the best for my personal situation. Boy, was I ever 100% correct!

Honest, Individualized Course of Treatment - Albuquerque, NM

Show More Dr. Taghizadeh is pleasant and friendly, completely devoid of the arrogance that (unfortunately) I have encountered in some other MDs. I would recommend him to anyone seeking cosmetic facial procedures. As a man who will turn sixty next year, I was surprised when Dr. Taghizadeh told me that in my case, he would not recommend a facelift (Lifestyle Lift). He said my skin was still too tight for it to be worth my while to get a facelift now (although he said that eventually, everyone would get to that point). This conveyed to me that he had my best interests at heart, not his immediate financial gain.

A Cautionary Tale on my Septorhinoplasy. Please Take the Time to Research and Read. - Albuquerque, NM

Show More Dr. T was very courteous and humble. However, upon addressing my concerns at my three month post op visit (my nose was still large, bulbous in the tip, asymmetrical, and wide in the bridge), he insisted that my proof in the form of camera photos did not count and that he was in fact proud of his work and proceeded to ignore my examples while calling up his high digital photos. Yes, there is a difference from this perspective, but unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of only allowing photos taken with his high tech machine during family/friend functions. His disregard of my proof via photo, friends, and family (they have ALL remarked that they can't see a difference) was very hurtful; especially so in the capacity that he brought up my aging face and skin to try and distract me after I refused to agree with him. Also, aftercare was hell. My tape came off early so I re-taped it myself with a very sticky brand. It was unceremoniously ripped off instead of using a Q-tip and water like I had observed on videos with other rhinoplasty reveals. Also, we were given a false estimate on the anesthesiologist's fee; it turned out to be twice as much! We are now faced with the dilemma of not knowing how to figure in this extra cost with our limited budget. I can't stress enough how upsetting, painful, and financially draining this experience has been for me. I was assured by Dr. Taghizadeh that if he thought he had done a poor job he would gladly eat the cost. The fact that he still maintains that he did a proficient job is proof enough that while he may excel in collapsed valve repairs and facelifts, basic rhinoplasy is not his forte. In the meantime, I avoid mirrors and pictures because the overall cost (emotional and physical) continues to distress me. We have three children, and in retrospect, it would have been money better spent on a vehicle for our oldest son or a college fund.
